À propos de ce contenu audio

Hosts Kevin Wallace, Grayson, and The Chief are giving the world of American soccer what has been missing this whole time: another podcast! Covering the biggest stories in Major League Soccer, interviews, bizarre rule explanations, and hot takes on the latest in MLS. Follow along throughout the entire MLS season as The World's Game is completely sullied by The World's GAM. Navigate the MLS Schedule with three hosts that don't take themselves seriously, have been accused of being funny, and won't pretend to know more soccer than you. Unapologetically MLS, with no detours into the Premier League or La Liga or Serie A. Literally covering all of Atlanta United, Austin FC, Charlotte FC, Chicago Fire, FC Cincinnati, Colorado Rapids, Columbus Crew, FC Dallas, DC United, LA Galaxy, Houston Dynamo, LAFC, Inter Miami, Minnesota United, CF Montreal, Nashville SC, NYCFC, New York Red Bulls, Orlando City SC, Philadelphia Union, Portland Timbers, New England Revolution, Real Salt Lake, San Diego FC, San Jose Earthquakes, Seattle Sounders, Sporting Kansas City, St Louis City, Toronto FC, and the Vancouver Whitecaps; not just Messi.

The World’s GAM is here to be your second favorite American soccer podcast.

It's that time folks! It's time to preview the upcoming MLS season, and this week we're focusing on the Western Conference teams. Including, and limited to, Sporting Kansas City's rebuilding efforts, LA Galaxy's attempts to bounce back, and St. Louis's transition under new management, Houston Dynamo's strategic moves, Colorado Rapids' uncertainty with a new coach, and the mixed fortunes of the San Jose Earthquakes, the importance of key players like Diego Luna for RSL, the need for standout talent in teams like the Portland Timbers and FC Dallas, Austin FC's DP marketplace, Seattle Sounders consistency, Minnesota United's set piece project, LAFC's domination, Vancouver Whitecaps' likelihood of running it back, and San Diego's ability to avoid that sophomore slump. • Ep 39 - CONCACAF Champions Lea... err Cup is Here! James Rodriguez to Minnesota, Vancouver to Indy(?), and Failing Medicals
      Feb 5 2026

CONCACAF Champions League (it'll always be League to us) is already here and what better time to preview the tournament!? But before CCL there's plenty of MLS news around the league, starting in Minnesota where ICE's military action in the Twin Cities is having a direct impact on their ability to recruit players. Despite that, they still landed James Rodriguez of all players before the World Cup! Vancouver is also in the news this week for off the field activities, this time maybe looking for a way out of the city? Public negotiations are tense as it's not clear what the path forward is for the Canadian team. Then it's transfer stories, failed medicals and Dennis Bouanga, that keep the love of MLS nice and spicy. Part Two is all a look at CONCACAF Champions League with predicting who will go furthest, who will have a tough time, and which non-Miami team has a shot at this thing.

      Timestamps:

(16:16) - Minnesota United and the Battle for the Twin Cities

(40:06) - Vancouver may be on the Move!?

      (50:10) - MLS Transfer Sagas
