Ben Nelson spent 15-20 years producing action sports events for Red Bull and Nitro Circus, racking up multiple world records along the way.
Racing trucks in Maine winters. Building things that were "harder to build."
Then he did the math on his 401k. It didn't work.
So he and his brother Eric bought two quadplexes in Lubbock, Texas. Today they run Wild Oak Capital – over 1,000 doors, $100M+ under management, value-add multifamily across Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas.
Ben still lives in Golden, Colorado. He still meets investors on ski lifts. His philosophy: "We want to work with people that want to do life with us."
