This podcast is all about simple, faith-filled routines that actually work in real life—because let’s be honest, we all need a little more Jesus and a lot more grace to get through each day.

I’ll help you create rhythms so your home feels manageable instead of overwhelming, and you can homeschool, build your business, and handle mom life without burnout. Because the truth is, we can’t do this on our own—we need Jesus in our days, in our decisions, and in the middle of the chaos.

It’s time to stop the constant chaos and the daily scramble and choose a simpler, faith-filled way of doing life and business—so you can show up with the patience and presence your family deserves. ❤️

Hey, I’m Billie-Jo—wife, homeschool mama to 3, and business owner just like you. I know exactly what it feels like to try to manage a home, homeschool kids, and grow a business, only to end the day feeling exhausted and behind. For a long time, I chased perfection and tried to do it all on my own, but it only left me overwhelmed, always playing catch up, and often my day ended in tears.

Everything changed when I started giving my days and my to-do list to God. I traded the pressure of perfection for simple, faith-filled routines and learned to separate my work, homeschool time, and managing our home.

Now, I’m sharing everything I’ve learned with you! Each week, we’ll dive into:

Routines

Time Management

Boundaries

These are the areas that will help you gain your time back, protect your peace, and reduce the chaos.

I promise, there is a better way to do this. It’s time to trade the burnout for a life filled with grace, laughter, and simple routines. So, grab your cold brew, pop in those earbuds, and let’s start simplifying. 🧋✨🎧

  • 24. Too Many Tabs Opened? How to Surrender to God and Build Working Mom Routines
    Jul 17 2026

Ever sat down at your desk to finish a client project, but mid-sentence your brain screams that you forgot to do something? Then your child walks in, says they're bored, or maybe they are asking for a snack, all while your phone is dinging with a business notification, and suddenly you are drafting a grocery list in your head while staring at a half-written business email.

Your brain feels exactly like a laptop screen with 47 browser tabs open at the same time. There’s background noise playing, you have no idea where it's coming from, and you can’t find the close button. You’re physically present at home, but mentally, your brackets are wide open—letting your focus, your energy, and your peace go out the door.

In this episode, I am getting raw and incredibly transparent about what it actually means to lay down your rigid expectations and surrender your schedule to God's better plan. I am taking you behind the scenes of what is happening in my home right now with my son—navigating unexpected behavioral meltdowns, an evolving therapy path, and the emotional exhaustion of trying to figure out what's wrong while running a business.

If you are tired of trying to control your days, running on survival mode, and carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders, press play. It is time to learn how to close the tabs and let the Holy Spirit carry the load.

    • Surrendering My Checklist in Real Time: Why an unexpected medical gray area, a therapist's sudden pivot, and a child's meltdown will instantly expose the lie of our "perfectly controlled" schedules.

    • The Dangerous Trap of Perfection: The psychological reason keeping 47 mental tabs open is proof that you are operating as if the entire weight of your household and calling rests on you.

    • The "Three-Tab" Maternal Routine: My exact framework for accepting seasonal maternal capacity and creating a routine that lets me work and have time with my family without them overlapping.

    • The Mindset Boundary Shift: Why leaving a basket of laundry sitting unfolded for hours isn't bad homemaking—it’s how you step into excellent stewardship of your God-given assignment.

    • The Daily Brain Dump: The simple, tactical tool used to capture erratic thoughts and transfer the execution over to God so your day moves with the flow of the Holy Spirit instead of the friction of frantic hustle.

Book Your 1-Hour Strategy Call: Are your boundaries completely blurred? Do you even have boundaries in place? Do you have any routines in place? Let’s simplify the chaos together.
