In this episode Joy and Laura break down season 5 episode 4 “The End”. Dean is sent 5 years into the future, to 2014, by the angel Zachariah to see what the world will be like if he continues to say no to being Michael’s vessel. He meets the future version of himself, who has been hardened by the apocalypse, and finds out that he never reconciled with Sam and that Sam is now Lucifer's vessel! Uh oh!

We discuss how well Jensen acted the 2 Deans in this episode to make them recognisable from each other, Woodstock Cas (as Joy dubbed him), and Dean standing up to Sam/Lucifer!!

We also discuss how the brothers' relationship has been shifting, our thoughts about Future Dean, the Colt coming back, Cas being human now, and Dean’s plan to kill Lucifer.

In this episode Joy, Laura and their guest Wally from The Wally Verse break down season 4 episode 22 “Lucifer Rising”. Sam and Dean are still at odds over Sam’s increasing reliance on Ruby and his demon-blood powers. Sam, convinced he must stop Lilith to prevent the apocalypse, continues working with Ruby to find and kill her. Meanwhile Dean has to deal with the angels who are trying to keep him away from Sam, because it is revealed that they in fact want Lillith to die as that is the final seal, and they want the apocalypse to happen. Dean works out what is going on and with Cas’ help gets to Sam to try and stop him, but it’s too late and the final seal gets broken freeing Lucifer.

We discuss Ruby’s character arc, how nerdy Sam and Dean really are, how the angelic teleporting works, and our thoughts about Destiel.

We also discuss the set design of the angel green room; how deep Azazel’s plot must have gone right from the start, due to what we see in the flashbacks in this episode; and who we think was behind the altered voicemail!

In this episode Joy and Laura break down season 4 episode 21 “When The Levee Breaks”. In the penultimate episode of season 4 Sam escapes Bobby’s panic room, where he had been imprisoned by Dean and Bobby so he can detox from drinking demon blood, and meets up with Ruby to get his fix. She reassures him that he needs it to stop Lillith. Dean tracks them down and the brothers fight. This episode sets the stage for the season finale and marks one of the most intense breaking points in Sam and Dean’s relationship.

We discuss whose side we are on in the Sam vs Dean fight; Sam’s character arc this season and how he got to this point; and Joy shares her thoughts about the lighting for the opening scene.
