Have you ever found yourself asking, Who am I outside of being a wife, a mother, a career woman, or what I do for everyone else? We’ve asked ourselves those questions, too. Sometimes life changes, our children grow up, ministry looks different, or the roles we’ve built our lives around suddenly shift, and we realize we’ve attached our identity to what we do instead of to who God created us to be. In this conversation, we get personal about the pressure women face, the insecurities and wounds that can shape the way we see ourselves, the importance of family and the voices that speak identity into our lives, and what it means to come back to the truth that God knew us before culture ever had an opinion about us. We don’t have all the answers, but we’re learning together that we don’t have to compete, compare, or pretend to be something we’re not—we can embrace who God created us to be and find our identity in Him. Pull up a chair and join us around the table for Part 2 of The Be Circle.
