The Vault is a short ecofiction/magical realism story written and read by Brittney Corrigan.
The world has been ravaged by catastrophic climate changes. In Svalbard, Norway a hungry polar bear desperately searches for food in an altered landscape. A woman entrusted with the safekeeping of the Global Seed Vault makes a difficult decision to ensure her survival. These two beings may very well be the last two living souls on the planet.
