The Underground Tactical Triad is available now on Amazon. This episode covers a new book that takes the underground component of a resistance movement and breaks it down to its simplest working parts, then shows how each part supports the others and supports the guerrilla force in the field.

Most treatments of insurgency and resistance bury the mechanics of underground organization inside layers of political theory and ideological doctrine. The Underground Tactical Triad strips that away. It isolates the structural and functional logic of underground work so that planners, analysts, and operators can get to the operating picture directly. The book explains what each element of the underground does, what it requires to function, what fails when it is missing, and how the parts sequence against one another as a movement develops.

The episode walks through the decomposition, examines the dependencies that connect the elements into a system, and gives particular attention to the relationship between the underground and the guerrilla component. That relationship is where the book delivers its practical value, covering what the underground supplies to the guerrilla force and what the guerrilla force cannot sustain without it.

Topics covered include underground organization, clandestine networks, auxiliary support, resistance movement structure, guerrilla warfare, irregular warfare, insurgency, unconventional warfare, resistance operating concept, compartmentation, clandestine tradecraft, support infrastructure, subversion, insurgent logistics, and the underground and guerrilla relationship.
