À propos de ce contenu audio

I think it is high time we talk about the things that would make cheeks red and jaws drop. Why do we act like trauma does not exist? Why do we allow others to tell us what we should and should not be ashamed of sharing? Few things to remember in case you're unsure: You are allowed to speak freely of the things that hurt and devastate you, you deserve a safe space to do so, and you deserve to know that you are not alone in your experiences. Here on TTBP you are seen, heard, and loved. Grab your favorite adult beverage and let's get this trauma dump started. - The Traumatized BacheloretteMegan Boeck Hygiène et vie saine Psychologie Psychologie et psychiatrie

    • The Great Identity Crisis, But Not The Quirky Kind
      Jul 25 2024

Okay, my bad for disappearing, but hear me out. I was having a moment. Or...several. How on earth are we just let out into the world to adult? I am not doing a great job and messing up a ton. The good thing is that everyone in my life has been super supportive. The bad thing is that I disapprove of myself. The battle between needing to be a logical adult and allowing your inner child to heal is ever-raging. It seems endless. Does it ever get better? Maybe, but also maybe not. Let's unravel a few of the knots together, shall we?

    • Was That a Sneeze? No, but It was Religious Abuse!
      Jul 13 2023

There are two types of people in the world. The ones that watched the Dugger documentary with disbelief and disgust....and the ones that were able to laugh and say "#relatable". Lexie (Ft. a small cough/sneeze from her significant other) was kind enough to give us the DL on what being in a home where you are nothing but a servant (If you are a woman) is like. As many of you may know, religious abuse has been around since the dawn of time, but people have found ways to twist biblical themes and commands in a way that benefits them. When you are taught to be meek and serve men all your life, what happens when you step out into the real world? What happens when men tell you to do something that you do not really want to do, but you have been taught to be "Obedient" and not question? Here is a crazy thought: It is not a sin to tell a man no, and you have a persona outside of the box that humans have claimed that God put you in. Now, without further ado, let's stir the pot shall we? Lace up your Bethlehem 3000 because it is about to get real.
