We’re siblings — and we grew up around the table.
Some of our best memories started there. Our dinners were never quiet or serious — they were loud, funny, and full of life. We can still picture our mom giving Dad that look like, “These are your kids. Are you going to do something about them?”

Around that table, we talked about everything — life, love, heartbreak, faith, and sometimes we even worked out our frustrations there. It wasn’t always perfect, but it was real, and it was ours.

Now, we each have our own tables with our families — but there’s something special about coming home. So we’re bringing that same energy to a new table — a virtual one — where we can laugh, reflect, and share stories about growing up in the Anabaptist world.

That world shaped us in both beautiful and challenging ways. We’ve wrestled, questioned, and grown — and through it all, we’ve found that God shows up in every part of the journey.

Our hope is that this podcast encourages you, makes you think, reminds you of truth, and gives you a few laughs along the way. So, pull up a chair — there’s always room at the table.

    • Episode 3: Leadership and Ordination in the Church
      Feb 16 2026
Leadership and Ordination in the Church In this episode, we’re talking about how leadership worked in the church we grew up in — specifically how ordination happened and how leaders were chosen. If you grew up in a similar setting, some of this will feel familiar. If you didn’t, it might give you a clearer picture of the structure and expectations inside conservative Anabaptist churches.

We walk through: • How our church selected and ordained leaders • What the process looked like from the inside • How this shaped our understanding of authority, calling, and church life • A few personal memories and reactions from growing up in that system

It’s an honest, straightforward look at a part of church life that influenced a lot of our upbringing — not dramatic, not heavy, just a clear explanation of how things worked in our world.

    • Episode 2: The Church We Grew Up At
      Feb 2 2026
The Church We Grew Up At In this episode, we’re giving you a simple introduction to the church we grew up at — the place that shaped our weekly rhythms, our understanding of faith, and a lot of our early experiences. It wasn’t all funny or all serious, but it was a huge part of our childhood, and we wanted to start by painting a clear picture of what that world looked like for us.

We talk about: • The traditions, expectations, and routines we grew up with • The parts that felt strict or different from other churches • A few light moments and memories that still make us smile

This episode isn’t about unpacking everything — it’s just an honest look at the environment we were raised in, so you can understand the backdrop of our story as we go forward.
