We got three points! After a great mid week draw against the Courage, the Legacy picked up all three points against Denver Summit in somewhat dramatic fashion (hello two goals basically in stoppage time?) We were so pumped to record this episode. Andy and Courtney are joined by returning guest and self described Swan Dive Super Fan Brooks to recap the Legacy's big win. We then were joined once again by Gary from the Soccer Over Gotham podcast for the Gotham preview. Gary shares his thoughts on the season so far for Gotham and things to watch heading into this weekend's rematch. As always, we rounded out the show with our predictions for the match. Here's a reminder of the standings after Game 7 (spoiler alert, not looking great for. Courtney but it's okay, the Legacy won so all is well).

Quick turnaround for us this week, but we were excited to record this next episode because the Legacy got their first point! After weeks of listening to us talk about tough Legacy losses, we finally get to talk about a draw. Andy and Courtney were joined by third time guest Dave (who now holds the record for most Swan Dive guest caps) to review the draw against the North Carolina Courage. The team discusses the positives (goals!) the maybe not so positive (goals, but for the other team), Courtney admits she was very wrong in her opinion about a certain Legacy player from last episode and we learn some fun info about an NWSL record broken by one of our very own players.

We were then joined for the Denver Summit preview by Kali and Hallie, two thirds of the Summit Up podcast covering all things Denver Summit. We chat a bit about being sister expansion teams, how the season has gone so far and what to expect in the future and of course, the NWSL record breaking attendance from their home opener. Lastly, as always we made some predictions for Sunday's match. For the first time ever, no one got points for the last game so the standings remain unchanged.

Multiple games in one week means multiple Swan Dive episodes in one week! On today's episode we are joined by Julianne to discuss the encouraging but also so very frustrating loss to the Chicago Stars. The Swan Dive team discusses the good, the bad, and the not quite, but maybe sort of ugly in what was arguably (but not really arguably) the best Legacy performance to date despite the loss and lack of goals.
