We also take a deep dive into the newly revealed Owen Hart Foundation Tournament brackets. Who are the favorites, and who are the sleepers on both the men’s and women’s sides?

Plus, the situation with Will Ospreay is getting intense as the Death Riders tighten their grip and Samoa Joe issues a violent ultimatum.

We dive deep into the emotional Ted Turner tribute, the rumors of The New Day heading to AEW, and Darby Allin giving MJF the ultimate ultimatum.

Plus, we talk about the Death Riders, Will Ospreay’s loyalty, and pitch an RJ City and Toni Storm detective segment that Tony Khan needs to book immediately.

Ted Turner’s Legacy: We reflect on the passing of the billionaire mogul and his massive impact on pro wrestling, Atlanta sports, and even Captain Planet.

Roster Cuts & Rumors: Does AEW need to trim the roster? We discuss who needs to “sink or swim” and the potential of Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston jumping ship to the Elite.

Last night’s Dynamite was a heavy-hitter: featuring four championship matches and a massive “I Quit” stipulation set for Double or Nothing.

In this week’s episode, we look at Kevin Knight’s career-defining win over MJF to retain the TNT Championship: the “Jet” used MJF’s own tricks against him with a low blow and a quick roll-up. We also dive into the tag team divisions, specifically Divine Dominion’s dominant defense against Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida, and what the future holds for the Don Callis Family after Adam Copeland and Christian Cage picked up a win over RPG Vice.

    Inside the Episode:

    * Darby’s Sting Era: Analyzing the Coffin Drops and the psychological warfare between the World Champ and Brody King.

    * The Rainmaker in Action: Kazuchika Okada’s International Title defense against Ace Austin of the Bang Bang Gang.

    * I Quit!: FTR lays out the stakes for Double or Nothing: and “Cage & Cope” accept.

    * Jericho Under Pressure: Chris Jericho is once again blindsided by “The Demand.”

Darby Allin’s World Heavyweight Championship reign is officially underway, but MJF is already throwing a tantrum. We review the bloody, TV Match of the Year candidate between Darby and Tommaso Ciampa, plus Brody King stepping up to demand the next title shot.

We also dive into the Death Riders carrying out a battered Will Ospreay, Chris Jericho aligning with the Hurt Syndicate, and the rising stakes for Adam Copeland and Christian Cage.

Plus, as always, we bring the off-topic banter. Expect detours into the latest Kansas City stadium news, travel icon Rick Steves, Bret Hart cementing his status as the ultimate hater, our all-time favorite pro wrestling term, and a hilarious look back at Tony Khan’s legendary NFL Draft neck-brace sell job.

Welcome to the fallout from AEW Dynasty, folks. We had a massive weekend of wrestling to cover, but first things first: Tim won the Dynasty predictions game. Because of this glorious victory, Tom was forced to wear an incredibly off-center, painfully awkward Jeff Jarrett shirt. It was a beautiful sight.

This week on the Wrapup, Tim and Tom are breaking down everything that went down at the pay-per-view, plus the massive shockers from Dynamite and Collision.

    * Darby Allin Shocks the World: We get right into the biggest news of the week. Darby Allin squashed MJF to win the AEW World Championship. We talk about Ash’s voicemail regarding the lack of build-up, but ultimately, we agree that unpredictable, sudden title changes on weekly television keep the product fresh. We also talk about Darby taking on a modern-day Mick Foley role and that incredible post-match celebration featuring the wild contrast of Sting and Brody King.

    * Kenny Omega & Will Ospreay: After both men took clean losses at Dynasty, we look at their backstage interaction. We discuss Kenny’s physical wear and tear, whether he has one more main event run in him, and how Ospreay might pivot his focus straight back to Jon Moxley.

    * The Chris Jericho Problem: We do not hold back here. Jericho’s return and his victory over Ricochet have us officially frustrated. We vent about his TV time and why we are desperately hoping this storyline wraps up soon.

    * AEW’s New Heath Ledger Joker: Thekla completely stole the show with her chaotic “dumb b*****s” promo against Alex Windsor. We are loving her unpredictable energy and hope she keeps leaning into this completely unhinged persona.

    * What is going on with Lio Rush?: Lio Rush went from wearing expensive suits to sitting in a corner acting like a goblin with zero backstory. We try to figure out what this gimmick is supposed to be, comparing it to a weird comedy sketch.

    * This Week in AEW History: We close out the show with a little trivia. Tom tries to remember exactly who hijacked the Forbidden Door announcement back in 2022.

The energy in Winnipeg was nothing short of electric this week as the prodigal son of Manitoba finally made his way back to the squared circle. Last night’s Dynamite and tonight’s special Thursday edition of Collision served as a double-barreled reminder that the landscape of All Elite Wrestling is shifting faster than we can keep up. Whether you caught the stream live or you are listening to the podcast on your morning commute, we have a massive amount of ground to cover.Dynamite Review: The Lionheart in WinnipegThe headline of the night was undoubtedly Chris Jericho. Opening the show in his hometown, the “Lionheart” declared that Winnipeg is officially AEW’s home. We spent a lot of time debating his new trademark, “The Cornerstone,” and whether this version of Jericho is leaning into a delusional heel persona or a respected veteran role. The rest of Dynamite was packed with high-stakes moments:* The Contract Signing: MJF and Kenny Omega finally put pen to paper for their Dynasty clash. The tension was palpable, though Omega’s dig at MJF’s hair plugs was the moment that had everyone talking.* The Aerial Assassin vs. The B*****d: Will Ospreay and PAC delivered an absolute “Match of the Year” contender. Ospreay secured the victory, but the post-match beatdown by the Death Riders left us wondering if he will be 100% for Moxley.* Speedball’s Stand: MJF proved his technical dominance by defeating Speedball Mike Bailey in a clean, grueling main event.Collision Highlights: Shida, Syndicates, and Shoving MatchesTonight’s special Thursday Collision was just as impactful. We saw the return of Hikaru Shida, who took Willow Nightingale to the limit in a TBS Title challenge. However, the post-match frustration from Shida suggests a much darker path ahead for the former champion. We also broke down:* Hurt Syndicate Expansion: MVP and Bobby Lashley are looking to grow the roster. We brainstormed potential recruits, with names like Keith Lee and Queen Aminata topping our list of “must-haves.”* FTR vs. The Icons: Adam Copeland and Christian Cage are officially hunting FTR. The backstage brawls and the involvement of Stokely Hathaway have made this rivalry one of the most intense stories on the road to Dynasty.* Juice Robinson’s New Look: We have some feelings about Juice ditching the “Rockstar” persona for plain black gear; we are officially on “Juice Watch” to see if the charisma returns with the wardrobe. The Way Back: April 7, 2021For our flashback segment this week, we took a trip to the pandemic era at Daily’s Place. It was the night the Young Bucks officially turned heel on John Moxley, but more importantly, it was the night they wrestled in $10,000 Dior Air Jordan 1s. It was the peak of “arrogant wealthy behavior,” and it set the stage for the EVP era we are still living through today.Show Notes and Timestamps:* [00:15] Intro and the return of Judas to Winnipeg.* [01:13] Tom’s Book List: Stoner, On Tyranny, and the Constitution.* [05:55] Remote work fashion: Chiefs, Royals, and Terry Funk.* [08:45] Dynamite Breakdown: Chris Jericho’s homecoming pop.* [16:50] The Cornerstone: Analyzing Jericho’s new trademark and heel potential.* [22:20] Contract Tension: MJF vs. Kenny Omega and the hair plug comments.* [27:15] Ricochet’s “Demand”: Why he might be the best promo in the industry right now.* [37:30] Match of the Year: Will Ospreay vs. PAC breakdown.* [45:45] Moxley’s Mercy: The Death Riders and the Continental Title rules.* [52:55] The Unraveling: Darby Allin’s psychological warfare with MJF.* [59:35] Collision Review: Willow Nightingale vs. Hikaru Shida.* [01:02:50] Hurt Syndicate: Who is the next recruit for Bobby Lashley and MVP?* [01:06:20] Juice Robinson: Why the plain black gear is a “Creator-a-Wrestler” disaster.* [01:09:20] Isaiah Kassidy: The emergence of a solo star.* [01:15:15] Missing in Action: Where is Eddie Kingston?* [01:21:50] The Way Back: The $10,000 sneaker superkick of 2021.FOLLOW US:Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/www.allelitewrapup.comWebsite: https://www.allelitewrapup.comMusic from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!):https://uppbeat.io/t/aavirall/gravityLicense code: FUEBS0UI2NFZPDE4 This is a public episode. • All Elite Wrapup - March 26, 2026
    Mar 27 2026

If you missed the livestream last night, you missed an absolutely chaotic breakdown of one of the most pivotal episodes of AEW Dynamite this year.

Tom and I jumped on the mics to dissect the immediate fallout from Revolution and the rapidly escalating road to AEW Dynasty. From shocking in-ring returns to promos that completely blurred the lines of reality, the landscape of All Elite Wrestling has officially shifted.

We have the full replay of the stream available for you below, complete with a timestamped breakdown of every major topic we covered so you can jump straight to your favorite segments.

    * [00:00:03] The Kickoff: We start the show with some banter about Royals Opening Day, the dangerous addiction of buying wrestling action figures, and what happens when the bowling alley throws a heartbreaking 9-pin your way.

    * [00:12:20] The Main Event... Opening the Show: We break down the massive #1 Contendership match between Kenny Omega and Swerve Strickland. Omega retains his EVP status and secures his shot at Dynasty.

    * [00:17:28] The God vs. The Devil: We share our completely unfiltered thoughts on the face-off between MJF and Kenny Omega. Did the promo hit the mark, or did it wander a little too far off the path?

    * [00:21:09] Ospreay Wants Blood: Will Ospreay puts PAC on notice and demands a piece of Jon Moxley at Dynasty. We discuss Ospreay’s intense promo and the real-life neck injury fueling this storyline.

    * [00:26:07] The Death Riders Get Weird: Moxley, Garcia, and Shafir pick up a trios win, but we have a lot to say about the bizarre ring-around-the-rosie post-match celebration. Tough guys don’t dance, and Moxley clearly agreed.

    * [00:43:01] Copeland’s Vow: Adam Copeland and Christian Cage deliver the promo of the night. They don’t just want FTR’s tag team titles; they vow to end their careers. We look at how deeply personal this feud has become and predict where it goes next.

    * [01:03:03] Women’s World Title & The Toni Storm Mystery: Thekla uses brass knuckles to steal a win from Mina Shirakawa. Plus, we put on our detective hats to speculate on who actually attacked Toni Storm. (Spoiler: We have a very specific theory involving Luther).

    * [01:24:25] The All Elite Time Machine: We travel back exactly five years to March 31, 2021, to relive the absolute chaos of Arcade Anarchy and the legendary claw machine return of Kris Statlander.

Join the Conversation What did you think of the Omega and MJF face-off? Do you agree with our theory on the Toni Storm attacker? Drop a comment below or shoot us an email at aewwrapup@gmail.com to have your thoughts read on the next show.
