    • What's less intelligent than a housefly and hungrier than a Jupiter-sized hippo?
      Jul 31 2025

RazedHunter is back after a break that he really needed!

Your patience is going to be rewarded, because episode three is a real well researched treat.

RazedHunter goes into great detail about how ridiculously unintelligent and horrifically resource intensive Gen AI is.

Our evil tech oligarchs are determined to suck the power grid empty and destroy the planet for a thing that's less accurate than a Magic 8 Ball.

AI takes larger token count and slows inference when solving more complex tasks

AI Agents fail basic tasks 91% of the time

AI is incapable of understanding of concepts

      Consistent for simple tasks

AI inference cost rise per usage linearly

Jevons Paradox (increase in efficiency=increase in consumption) applies to AI scaling

The better the AI model=the more energy it uses

AI is only good at memorising data, not reasoning it

AI does not possess common sense reasoning that limits automation (and scaling gets diminishing returns)

Limitations of AI agents by predictive models

AI failure rates are on the rise

AI is falling short in reasoning

AI models try to "hack" to cheat in benchmark tests

AI companies rig their AI models for benchmarks

AI agents fail 20-40% of the time depending on the agent being used

AI knows when its being evaluated, making benchmarks less reliable

Limitations of mathematical reasoning of LLMs

AI can't actually think or reason

Limitations on LLMs when it comes to "thinking"

    • There's No Money in The Banana Stand, Michael
      Jun 26 2025
In this episode, RazedHunter explains how DALL E image generation and applications using ChatGPT APIs don't make OpenAI any money. In fact, they lose money each time someone "prompts" a Gen AI application to output something. In a capitalist world, a business needs to charge at least a little bit more money for a product or service than it costs to produce it. Is Altman a genius playing 4D chess understanding these "services" will pay off eventually, like when Amazon ran at a loss for a few years to expand their business? No signs of 4D chess playing can be found... It's one thing to kill the planet and destroy people's livelihoods if the corporation was making a lot of money in doing so, then there'd at least be a capitalist logic behind it. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cnbc.com/amp/2024/09/27/openai-sees-5-billion-loss-this-year-on-3point7-billion-in-revenue.html https://www.ynetnews.com/business/article/bkiagmekxx https://www.theinformation.com/articles/openai-projections-imply-losses-tripling-to-14-billion-in-2026 https://www.reuters.com/technology/openai-annualized-revenue-tops-16-billion-information-2023-12-30/ https://www.windowscentral.com/software-apps/openai-may-endure-massive-usd44-billion-losses-before-seeing-profit-in-2029-partly-due-to-microsoft-tie-up-the-partnership-with-microsoft-might-mean-openai-earns-less-from-each-dollar-of-revenue https://techcrunch.com/2025/01/05/openai-is-losing-money-on-its-pricey-chatgpt-pro-plan-ceo-sam-altman-says/ https://au.finance.yahoo.com/news/costs-much-run-chatgpt-openai-222310434.html https://www.cnbc.com/2025/03/31/openai-funding-could-be-cut-by-10-billion-if-for-profit-move-lags.html?ref=wheresyoured.at https://archive.is/20230320192412/https://www.ft.com/content/951f7a93-92e1-4d74-bdf0-9c461b98e4a2 https://edition.cnn.com/2025/05/05/tech/openai-nonprofit-altman-restructuring https://en.tmtpost.com/post/7279715 https://www.finextra.com/blogposting/25863/the-realities-of-ai-from-hype-to-profitability https://pivot-to-ai.com/2025/01/06/sam-altman-ai-agents-will-totally-replace-your-employees-any-year-now-also-chatgpt-pro-is-losing-money/ https://www.wsj.com/tech/ai/openai-and-microsoft-tensions-are-reaching-a-boiling-point-4981c44f https://web.archive.org/web/20240621100046/https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2024/06/21/artificial-intelligence-nuclear-fusion-climate/ https://www.google.com/amp/s/m.economictimes.com/news/international/us/openais-sam-altman-limits-chatgpts-ghibli-image-generation-as-gpus-struggle-to-keep-up-with-demandcan-ai-handle-the-viral-craze-or-is-it-too-much-to-sustain/amp_articleshow/119610852.cms https://www.techinasia.com/news/openais-new-reasoning-models-see-rise-in-hallucination-rates
