 It's time to put the arts on game! Hosts Lee Bynum, Paige Reynolds, and Rocky Jones are three Black, queer artists and pop culture aficionados, who are working every day to bring more diversity, equity, and inclusivity into the arts. Noted by The New York Times as one of the "Podcasts Opera Pros Tune To" in 2021, The Score is their provocative, thoughtful, and humorous commentary on the industry's past, present, and future, as seen through an antiracist and unapologetically Black and queer lens. Each episode features a variety of stories from a variety of perspectives that bring People of the Global Majority, queer, trans and nonbinary folks, and everyone else into the discussion of ownership over and access to the arts.     Hola Scorekeepers! It's been a tough couple of weeks, huh? ICE is still in Minnesota. Trans folks in Kansas are under attack. World War 3's officially breaking out. And if that wasn't enough, Rocky was actually in Puerto Vallarta last weekend when the cartel violence broke out and had to take shelter while cars and buses and things exploded around him. Let's talk about it. Plus, a little Traitors, a little Drag Race and a little Pure Black Joy!

    Oh, and it's our 5th anniversary! Can you believe it? Happy birthday us! And thank you all so much for sticking around and supporting us. We love you!

    Happy holidays, Scorekeepers! 2025 was quite the rollercoaster, wasn't it? It had some high highs and some very low lows, so for this episode we're taking a look back and taking stock of the year that was. First, we'll chat about the news and events that affected us individually and collectively. Then, we'll take a look at the culture that shaped 2025, both the stuff we loved and the stuff we didn't love quite as much. (And, yes, that means, another conversation about Sinners! We can't get enough!). Plus, our last PBJ for the year! Let's do it to it!

    Also, after this, we're going to be taking a little break to rest and get all refreshed and rejuvenated for the new year. We hope you have a wonderful holiday season and we can't wait to talk to you again this January! xo
