As the spooky season draws near, we decided it was about time to invoke the awesomeness of one Mr. Kevin Chan! Friend of the show and mastermind behind the amazing label, Baneful Genesis, Kevin isn't only a fan of the amazing music he puts out, participates in and listens to but he is also a big fan of the horror genre! So when it came time for us to go down our list of top 10 horror movie directors, it should come as no surprise that we decided to include Kevin along for the ride! A lot of great movies are discussed and a lot of great directors are mentioned but we know we didn't cover them all, let us know who we might've missed and let us know what movies you decide to fire up for this time of year! That's right folks, the world famous and renowned Rehearsal Room Friends Club gets together once again this time we bring in our bud David Gein! If you don't know already, Dave there plays guitar in a pretty cool band called The Cimmerian and made his way out west via Massachusetts where he also played in the Scimitar, Black Pyramid, the Crimson Ghosts and Gein and the Graverobbers! He's starting up a new band and also trying to put out a comic of his own but he's here today to talk about the third installment of the solo Glen Danzig output, specifically the album Danzig III: how the God's kill! That's right, one of the more dark and brooding albums from the classic lineups and we nerd out as usual and it should come as no surprise, we've probably had the same conversation within the three of us at least five times already but now you get to sit in on it as well, check it out and catch up with what we've been listening to and what we've been watching!

We know you've heard about it. That dreaded sophomore slump. In a lot of cases it's usually when a band releases a phenomenal first album and then some expectations are pushed upon the second album and whether it'll be as impactful and successful as the first but where exactly do these expectations come from? We take a look at some albums that are considered slumps or jumps as we so eloquently put it in this episode and why it truly doesn't matter whether that second, third or even fourth album hit as much as the first album might have because it's all subjective and up to the listener and enjoyer of the creative output in the end.
