SONG OF THE WEEK: Poppy “Eat The Hate” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9S8F0bAPDNg

“For 30 goddamned years I have been screaming about all of this stuff and more, because I am a student of history, and for those who know history, the signs are crystal clear. For 30 goddamned years I have been screaming a warning— because it is the right thing to do, because I give a fuck, because I HAVE A VOICE," he shares. "I am almost 55 years old and while I have a very good life, I am living a split-screen existence. I can pay for my now-much-more-expensive health insurance without a second thought, I have more than enough money for groceries and rent and gas for my car and I never worry about being hassled by masked men every time I walk out my door because of my accent or the color of my skin or the thing between my legs (because rapists have posed as ICE agents in order to sexually assault women)… but everyday I wake up there is a cloud of doom that hangs over my aching head and heart, simply because I know my good life is merely a dream for so many," he continues.” (Loudwire)

SONG OF THE WEEK: Limberlost “Give It To Me (Redux)” https://limberlostmusic.com/give-it-to-me-redux

“You know, I liked them [Metallica]. If the friendship was restarted, it wouldn’t bother me. I would accept, and I think it would be nice to revisit some of those times. But I just think because there was a lot of hurt and misunderstanding around our time together that it would be difficult not to keep bringing up the past. I think what needs to happen is there needs to be a Megadeth/Metallica tour. Period. That would, I’m sure, make everything right. We could hang out. Spend time together. But I know they don’t really tour like we do. I mean, when we go out on tour, we play many, many shows.” (Revolver)

The tour will be Evanescence's first as a headlining act in nearly four years. In September, Amy Lee of Evanescence teamed up with Cortney LaPlante of Spiritbox and Poppy to release the song "End of You." The single was well-received and served as a precursor to Spiritbox and Poppy joining Evanescence as opening acts for the 2026 tour. Lee told Rolling Stone that the trio has yet to perform the song live together, but she hopes that will happen at some point during this run." (Loudwire)
