This week in Formula 1, the Lando-stans in the Lando-stands (and possibly also in the stewards room) hoped to celebrate a home grand prix at Silverstone. A wet race did create a final destination situation for the rookies, but added a pleasing degree of randomness to proceedings. In F2, Alex ‘Doona’ got his championship fight back on track and it was Browning’s turn to bully Martins this week. In Indycar at mid-Ohio, we saw more inevitable things: Palou dominating, Dixon fuel saving, Colton Herta having a bad pit stop, and Ferrucci being a menace, but we did finally end up with a new winner.

This week we cover the F1 from Austria, where we saw Lando dominate FP2, FP3, and Qualifying, thereby putting himself in prime bottling territory for the race. We also saw Carlos and Max demonstrate their precognitive powers by deeming their cars undrivable. Emma jumps back on the Liam hype-train, while also getting off the Yuki train, and briefly off then back onto the Kimi train. Peter, meanwhile, jumps on the McLaren conspiracy train, as Oscar almost violates the sacred Papaya Rules. In F2, old man Richard Verschoor had a good weekend, Pepe Marti made his case for best Red Bull Junior, and Gorden Bennett, we saw John Bennett on sprint pole. However, it’s Alex Dunne who continues to be the main character of F2, despite not having the best time on track.

This week we cover Formula E from Jakarta, where we see the rise of ‘the bad boy of FE’, but is that Dan Ticktum or Nyck DeVries? Next we briefly cover Indy NXT to discover who is the Norwegian Nightmare and who are his main opponents. Lastly, we cover a great Indycar race at Road America, where good racing was punctuated by several cautions, leading to a thrilling end where the leaders might run out of fuel. We also saw Conor Daly debut his fursona.

Incredibly none of the many racing series we cover were on this weekend, meaning this episode is a bit crazy. We start by discussing the F1 feeder series career path, touching on the FRECA races in Zandvoort and the F1 Academy TV show. However, things degenerate quickly as we get to know the Indycar drivers via a game of True or False and a game of F**K, Marry, K**l.

Another bumper-packed weekend of racing sees us discuss F1&F2 in Barcelona, Indycar in Detroit, and Formula E in Shanghai. Apropos of nothing, we start by discussing the careers of Santino Ferrucci and Dan Ticktum, who both had good results this weekend. Then we get to the action in F1 and can’t avoid talking about THE incident between Max and George. Alex Dunne continues to be the main character in F2, recovering well from his significant grid place penalties, although old man Richard Vershoor was the big winner this weekend. In Formula E, we discover who is the Greasy Weasel, and in Indycar we finally got a new winner, although it did happen to be the only other person who had won a race this season. This weekend also saw Nico Rosberg continue the tradition of F1 drivers casually dropping horrifying lore.

We dared to dream that things could be different in Monaco and Indianapolis. However, a botched rule change exacerbates the traffic jam problems in Monaco and Álex Palou continues his unprecedented domination of Indycar by winning the Indy500. We cover both races, as well as the F2, where Alex Dunne goes from hero last week to the villain this week, meaning the only exciting race of the weekend was the Oscar Mayer Wienie 500, won by the magnificent Slaw Dog.
