--- The Man Who Never Came Back Home: Hemmy Moore

On June 2, 1974, Wynant Lee “Hemmy” Moore — a 29-year-old U.S. Air Force veteran — disappeared during a weekend fishing and camping trip at Mill Creek Lake in Slade, Kentucky. He was dropped off for what should have been a quiet outdoor getaway in the Red River Gorge area. When his fiancée returned to pick him up, Hemmy Moore was gone.

Only a few personal belongings were found near the water’s edge. There were no confirmed sightings, no recovery, and no definitive explanation. Despite extensive searches in Wolfe County and the surrounding Daniel Boone National Forest, Wynant Lee Moore has not been located. His case remains one of Kentucky’s oldest unsolved missing-person cases and a haunting cold case that has endured for more than five decades.

In this episode of The Original Sin Podcast, we conduct a deep dive into: – The timeline of Hemmy Moore’s disappearance

    – The search and rescue efforts at Mill Creek Lake

    – The physical evidence (and what was missing)

    – Investigative gaps and unanswered questions

    – Theories: accident, drowning, foul play, or something else?

    – Why this 1974 missing persons case still matters today

This is not just a missing person story. It is an unresolved disappearance, a Kentucky cold case, and a reminder of how easily someone can vanish without explanation. If you follow cold cases, unsolved mysteries, missing veterans cases, or historical true crime investigations, this episode is for you.

🎙️ The Original Sin Podcast explores missing persons, unsolved cases, murder investigations, and forgotten victims through ethical, fact-driven, independent journalism.

  • Two Shoes and No Answers: The Death of Noah Presgrove
    Jan 3 2026

On September 4, 2023, 19-year-old Noah Presgrove was found dead along Highway 81 in Jefferson County, Oklahoma. His body was discovered naked except for two mismatched shoes, lying on the roadside in the early morning hours. What should have been a straightforward investigation quickly became anything but.

Noah’s body showed multiple blunt-force injuries, including trauma inconsistent with a simple accident. Despite the disturbing condition in which he was found, authorities ultimately ruled his death as "undetermined.” No arrests have been made. No definitive explanation has been provided. And for Noah’s family, the questions have only multiplied.

In this episode of The Original Sin Podcast, we examine the final hours of Noah Presgrove’s life—beginning with a night of partying and ending with a death that remains shrouded in uncertainty. According to his family, Noah did not die from an accident. They believe he was beaten to death, and that individuals who were with him that night know far more than they have disclosed. They allege that instead of accountability, there has been silence, shifting stories, and a failure to pursue the truth with urgency.

As accusations surface publicly, friends and acquaintances deny involvement, online speculation intensifies, and the official investigation appears stalled. The lack of answers has fueled growing frustration and grief, not only for Noah’s loved ones but for a community searching for clarity and justice.

This episode takes a closer look at the known facts, the unanswered questions, and the troubling inconsistencies surrounding Noah Presgrove’s death. Above all, it asks the question that still has no answer:

What really happened to Noah Presgrove?

If you have information related to this case, consider contacting local authorities.

If you believe cases like Noah’s deserve continued attention, awareness matters—sharing this episode helps keep his story from being forgotten.
