We finish Hebrews 11 by holding two truths together: God sometimes brings visible victory, and God sometimes calls us to endure suffering with steady trust. We close Season 1 by centering “something better” on Jesus Christ and offering encouragement for anyone walking through spiritual warfare, rejection, or heavy trials.

We have enjoyed Season 1! While we take a few months break, please check out O.D.E. Ministries on YouTube. Dominique has steadily built this YouTube channel for several years. You can find us here: https://www.youtube.com/@ODEMinistries

We love each and every one of you, but God loves you so much more. Be blessed! See you next time for Season 2.

David’s story is not a highlight reel, and that’s why it hits so hard. We sit down to talk through the life of King David, a shepherd boy from Bethlehem who gets overlooked by his own family, then chosen by God and named in Hebrews 11 as an example of faith. If you’ve ever felt like the least likely person in the room, we want you to hear this clearly: God looks at the heart, and he still builds leaders out of ordinary lives.

God rarely shouts over the noise. Sometimes He calls in the dark, and we assume it’s just a familiar voice like Eli’s. That’s why Samuel’s story hits so close to home. We’re Dominique and Hodaiah, and we’re walking through how Samuel grows from a prayed-for child into Israel’s last judge and a steady prophet whose leadership is marked by integrity, courage, and a life of prayer.
