The Hard Doesn't Always Make it Great (but sometimes it does).

This episode covers a lot of ground! Including but not limited to: what doing your best actually looks like. She talks about the One Voice Conference, her next move, her previous move, exercise, what she's learning lately, and how her girlfriends get her through. (Her dog Millie also makes an appearance.)

"I went to the One Voice Conference in Dallas recently and the conference itself was really good. I'm so glad I went - and ALSO there was still a lot about it that was really stinkin' hard. Let's talk about it!"

After the conversation, Abbie talks more about dysregulation in ADHDers, particularly the emotional dysregulation that can really knock a person for a loop unexpectedly.

NOTE: Emotional Dysregulation is not part of the official diagnostic for ADHD but more and more research indicates that it is a big piece of the overall dysregulation of our "spicy" brains. For more on this and other medical ADHD content, look up Dr. Sasha Hamdani @thepsychdoctormd.

We're back & headed straight for the express lane, folks!

In today's episode we talk about just how late a late diagnosis can be, grieving that misunderstood kid you used to be, letting go of lifelong masking, defining your own success, and how fitting in is the opposite of belonging - and that's just the beginning!

Moe Egan Thomas is celebrating her 22nd anniversary as a full-time voice over talent in 2026.

She has worked repeatedly for over a dozen Fortune 100 companies, major hospitals and municipalities, as well as startups and nonprofits on 6 continents, all from her home studio in Manchester, NH. (She’s still waiting for that big Antarctic break!)

She was diagnosed with ADHD at the tender age of 62.

A voice over generalist, Moe does commercials, corporate narration, phone messaging, audiobooks, and imaging. She is most proud of the fact that she raised three kids, paid off her mortgage, and put two kids through college as a single, self-employed mom doing voice overs.

Outside the booth, she is a Grandma to toddler twin boys, who call her Gaga and take up most of her heart.

You can find her at voiceoversbymoe.com and on IG @VObyMoe.
