A new school year means a new season — and for competitive junior golfers, that means juggling classwork, practice, and tournament prep all at once. In this episode, Meredith breaks down how to build a schedule that protects your golf development without sacrificing your grades.

Meredith shares how to structure practice time around a school schedule, why consistency matters more than intensity when time is tight, and how discipline off the course builds discipline on it. This is for any junior golfer — or golf parent — trying to figure out how to keep progressing once the school bell rings.

In this episode:

• How to build a realistic practice schedule during the school year
• Why small, consistent reps beat occasional long sessions
• Time management lessons that carry over from the classroom to the course
• How to start the season with the right mindset

Repetition removes doubt. Discipline built now pays off all season long.

In this episode of The Meredith Taylor Show, Meredith breaks down what mental toughness really looks like in golf — especially for junior golfers, high school athletes, and players trying to compete at a higher level.

Mental toughness is not just about “being confident.” It is about how you respond after a bad hole, how you handle pressure, how you prepare before tournaments, and whether you can stay disciplined when the round does not go your way.

Meredith shares insight from her experience as a former Division 1 SEC golfer and now as a golf instructor helping players build confidence, structure, and competitive maturity.

This episode is for golfers who want to stop letting one bad shot, one bad break, or one bad round define them.

You’ll learn why composure matters, how preparation builds confidence, and why the mentally strong players are usually the ones who can reset the fastest.

It's Masters Week. In this special episode of The Meredith Taylor Show, Meredith shares the incredible story behind her answer to the question she gets asked most often: What is the best golf course you’ve ever played?

The answer is Augusta National.

But this is much more than a story about a famous golf course. It is a story about family, faith, unexpected opportunity, and a journey that started with Meredith attending The Masters for the first time as a teenager. From being inspired by the beauty and tradition of Augusta National, to picking up the game with no experience, to making her high school golf team, to walking on at the University of South Carolina and eventually earning a scholarship, Meredith reflects on how each step of the journey was woven together in a way only God could orchestrate.

This episode is a powerful look at her golf origin story and a reminder that hard work, belief, and faith can open doors far bigger than we ever imagined.

In this episode:

• Meredith’s first experience attending The Masters
• How Augusta National inspired her to start playing golf
• Her rapid rise from beginner to Division I SEC golfer
• The recruiting story that changed everything
• How she earned the chance to play her dream course
• Why Augusta National will always mean more than just golf

If you’ve ever wondered how golf can change a life, this episode is for you.

Enjoy Masters Week!

In this episode of The Meredith Taylor Show, Meredith breaks down why the most “boring” parts of practice are actually the most important: grip, posture, alignment, setup, tempo, and short putts. These are the fundamentals that create real consistency and separate high school players who level up from those who stay stuck.

You’ll also hear why great coaches aren’t afraid to protect the standard, how identity is built through discipline (not motivation), and why REPETITION REMOVES DOUBT when the pressure hits.

What you’ll learn:

• The college golf standard: what coaches actually recruit and trust
• Why fundamentals must be automatic for tournament success
• The daily routine (simple, repeatable, effective)
• A fundamentals challenge to build confidence fast
• How to work with excellence even on days you don’t feel motivated

Meredith closes with a faith-based encouragement from Colossians 3:23–24 to remind you to train with purpose and work as if you’re working for the Lord.
