This week I sent the package to the winner of my latest giveaway. She actually used Lippy Links wrong and I made a video about it ahahah. It's all good content.

I sent off a package to a writer from Hello Magazine. She was really sweet, listen in to what happened.

A lovely influencer with a big following made a video about what is in her bag and she put Lippy Links in there. It was a nice surprise. It was a great video and I will be reposting it to all my socials. I have already put it on my stories.

There are major learning curves in budgeting, advertising and manufacturing. So much to learn to balance the books.

I gave a second chance to a PR writer and she unfortunately failed me. People really need to consider that other people are suffering when they short change them. Not nice.

I connected with a beauty brand in Germany and we are doing a giveaway together. Listen in to how this happened.

This week I started another giveaway as I noticed I get more sales and followers when I do.

I got contacted by a beauty salon in Connecticut New York which was excited. They asked me to gift them some product for their Client Appreciation Day.

Then they asked about wholesaling with them. I was so excited about these opportunities. Then I was scared because I have no idea about wholesaling and prices so I need to figure this out.

Being impatient also made me offer the beauty salon cheaper wholesale prices then I should have offered because I wanted to partner with them. I need to learn patience. I am waiting to hear back from them.

I have also decided to add glitter to Lippy Links. The problem is the manufacturers wanted a much larger order than I can afford so I have been negotiating with them to something I can afford.

I love Italy and Italian influencers they are the best. An influencer I sent my product to posted and I got a sale. They are really very good at influencing.

Another opportunity came my way that I created. I noticed a new business that followed me. Turns out it’s another female inventor but in the US. She invented makeup lights. I said to her we should do a competition to help each other’s accounts grow. She said yes so we are working on it.

The great thing about her is that she has gone on a tv show with one of the judges being Gwyneth Paltrow. I am hoping to profit off some attention she will get when her episode goes live. Listen in to find out more.

I got lots of influencers asking for my product which can be very frustrating. Since I am a small business it would be nice if people actually bought from me and put money in my pocket instead of asking for free product taking money out of my pocket! I was thrilled to get orders from people who work at two big brands. One is Huda Beauty in Dubai and the other one is Chanel in Paris.

I greatly admire Huda as she has been very vocal about the Palestinian people. It is really brave of her to do this and she has only received more love from the beauty community which is great to see.

I have been contacting influencers asking them to put reviews on my website for social proof as others wait to see if people have bought and what they thought. The influencers have been very generous with their reviews which is great to see.

I also sat down and made up some more boxes of Lippy Links. It is incredibly time consuming, it takes about 3-4 hours putting together 30 boxes!

Then there is the constant of making content, replying to customers questions, responding to infleuncers contacting me, commenting on other posts and staying connected to the beauty community.
