We assume peace and quiet is natural. In Lindenbridge, it is manufactured. Anna, Felix, and Mila uncover the "Sound Trap", a brutalist concrete room designed to strip the roar from the river so the villagers can sleep without remembering the danger on their doorstep.

There is a tram stop on the edge of Lindenbridge that has a bench, a map, and a sign. But no trams stop there.

When Felix notices that passing trams slow down for exactly three seconds before speeding up again, the children decide to investigate. They discover a "ghost stop" that isn't on any modern map—and a stranger who explains why the village still remembers passengers who no longer exist.

The sign says the 16:42 to Northport is departing. The doors close. The whistle blows. But the train doesn’t move.
