À propos de ce contenu audio

This page is dedicated to the whole world that all may know the origin and ending of the great controversy between God and Satan, the originator of sin.

From the author's pen:

"To unfold the scenes of the great controversy between truth and error; to reveal the wiles of Satan, and the means by which he may be successfully resisted; to present a satisfactory solution of the great problem of evil, shedding such a light upon the origin and the final disposition of sin as to fully make manifest the justice and benevolence of God in all his dealings with his creatures; and to show the holy, unchanging nature of his law, is the object of this book. That through its influence souls may be delivered from the power of darkness, and become "partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light," to the praise of Him who loved us, and gave himself for us, is the earnest prayer of the writer. THE WORD WAS RAISED AGAIN

    (The Great Controversy Chapter 9 – The Swiss Reformer)

    By Zeres Vitto

    VERSE 1 — Light in the Alps

    In Alpine lands where shadows lay,

    A faithful voice broke through the gray;

    No power of men nor ancient claim

    Could bind the truth in Jesus’ name.

    He searched the Word in ancient tongue,

    Where living streams of truth are sung;

    No priestly claim above the Word—

    But Christ revealed through Scripture heard.

    REFRAIN

    The Word was raised, was raised again—

    Its light now shines among all men.

    No earthly power, no sword of might

    Can stand against advancing light.

    From Zurich’s streets the call was heard:

    “Return, O souls, unto the Word!”

    VERSE 2 — The Witness Restored

    Long had the sacred pages lain,

    Obscured by fear and bound by chain;

    Through darkest years its voice was low,

    Yet faithful hearts preserved its glow.

    But now the light broke forth again,

    And truth was preached to common men;

    The Scriptures spoke with power restored—

    Revealing Christ, the living Lord.

    REFRAIN

    The Word was raised, was raised again—

    Its light now shines among all men.

    No earthly power, no sword of might

    Can stand against advancing light.

    From Zurich’s streets the call was heard:

    “Return, O souls, unto the Word!”

    VERSE 3 — The Rising Conflict

    The conflict grew as truth advanced,

    And many hearts by grace were cleansed;

    For the apostate church with civil might

    Made war against unfolding light.

    Yet truth is not by force sustained,

    Nor conscience ever rightly chained;

    For Christ before the judge proclaimed:

    “My kingdom is not of this world.”

    VERSE 4 — A Work Unfinished

    The light increased, yet not complete—

    More truth remained to be revealed;

    For human rule still shaped the creed,

    Where Christ alone the church should lead.

    The call moves on through time’s long span,

    Restoring truth by Heaven’s plan;

    God’s remnant sound the final cry:

    “Come out, My people—follow God!”

    BRIDGE — Final Message

    Now angels fly through heaven’s height,

    Proclaiming truth with urgent might;

    To every land and tribe and tongue—

    The everlasting gospel sung.

    “Fear God! Give glory—judgment near!

    Worship the Maker of heaven and earth!”

    Babylon falls—her systems flee,

    “Come out, My people—now be free!”

    REFRAIN — FINAL

    The Word was raised, still shines today—

    Its truth no power can take away.

    Fear God and give Him glory due,

    Creator holy, just, and true.

    From every land the cry is heard:

    “Worship the Lord—obey His Word!”

    OUTRO

    From Zwingli’s voice to final cry,

    God’s truth goes forth—it cannot die.

  • Here I Stand Before the Thrones - The Great Controversy Chapter 8 - Luther Before the Diet
    Mar 12 2026

    “Here I Stand Before the Thrones” is a dramatic song inspired by the historic stand of Martin Luther before the imperial court at the Diet of Worms, where he declared that his conscience was bound to the Word of God. Drawing from the prophetic themes of Book of Daniel and Book of Revelation, the song connects the courage of the Reformation with the final test of faith foretold in Scripture. Luther’s stand becomes a symbol of the larger conflict between divine truth and human authority, reminding listeners that the same loyalty to God’s Word will be required of His faithful people in the closing scenes of earth’s history. Moving from the courts of earthly rulers to the throne of heaven, the song calls believers to stand with unwavering conviction, trusting that the truth which sustained Luther will sustain God’s people until Christ returns in glory.

  • Here I Stand in the Firelight - The Great Controversy Chapter 7 - Luther’s Separation from Rome
    Mar 5 2026

    “Here I Stand in the Firelight” is a prophetic narrative song inspired by Chapter 7 of The Great Controversy, tracing the recurring conflict between divine authority and human power across Scripture and history. Beginning with Elijah’s challenge on Mount Carmel, moving through the worship crisis of Babylon in the days of Daniel, and culminating in Martin Luther’s courageous stand before the imperial assembly at Worms, the song reveals a consistent pattern: God calls His people to remain faithful when conscience is tested by earthly decree. The narrative then reaches forward to the final prophetic crisis described in Revelation, where the same issues of worship, allegiance, and authority reappear on a global scale. Through its imagery of fire, judgment, and steadfast faith, the song affirms that throughout every age the faithful are preserved not by numbers or power, but by their loyalty to the Word of God and the Lamb who ultimately vindicates them.
