I sit down with Razor Rob McCullough, former WEC Lightweight World Champion, multiple-time Muay Thai and kickboxing champion, and creator of the Razor Striking System. We talk about what makes a great coach, like fixing technique before adding more, knowing your students, and keeping the gym safe and welcoming. Rob is open with me about staying in shape as a veteran athlete, from TRT, peptides and regular blood work to cutting out sugar cold turkey after a test showed he was close to pre-diabetic. He also talks about facing the fear of the last 24 hours before a fight, and about how his upbringing shaped the way he handles pressure. I hope you enjoy this episode.

You'll also hear how her grandpa's long-lost 1950s honky-tonk bass found its way back into the family.

This week I interview Luis Heredia. Luis was recently awarded a Coral Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. For those of you who are not in that world, a Coral Belt means roughly 36 years as a black belt which in itself takes 10-15 years to attain. In this episode, Luis speaks of his immigration to the U.S.A., how he built his business, the importance of a network, and how to pivot when necessary.
