  • The Extra Mile - 2025 Question Recap
    Dec 29 2025

    Send us a text

It’s been an outstanding year with great guests and excellent perspectives on what it means to go the extra mile for others.

Matthew 5:41 describes instruction from Jesus about this principle. If any would force you to go with them a mile, go with them two. Not begrudgingly, but with the mindset that you were placed in that situation to make a change. It takes perspective of heavenly thinking to take that first step.

The Bible does not promise we won’t suffer in this world. In fact, it guarantees we will suffer for our faith. Rejoice in the Lord through our sufferings, because this world has already been overcome by Jesus. That perspective and faith causes action toward others, to help them out of darkness, to break down barriers, to cause others to pause and question what’s going on.

Salvation is open to all, for those who have ears to hear and eyes to see. Behold, Jesus stands at the door and knocks. Will you open the door of your heart to Him?

  • The Rise of Christian Media
    Dec 22 2025

    Send us a text

Audio Note: One of our microphones has a slight echo in this episode. Thanks for bearing with us—despite the technical hiccup, the conversation is strong and we believe it’s worth sharing.

Christian and Biblically inspired media is on the rise, offering new ways to share faith and spark spiritual conversations. But is it actually helping people grow, or becoming a substitute for real Bible study and discipleship? In this episode, we explore the strengths and shortcomings of this trend and what role Christian media should—and shouldn’t—play in evangelism today.

Does Christian media serve as a replacement for searching the scriptures for you? Does the media you consume inspire you to pursue a perishable wreath, or the everlasting crown of life?

Give us your answers in the comments below.

  • Jesus Believes in Karma?
    Dec 15 2025

    Send us a text

There’s a difference between consequence and karma. What does the Bible say about karma, and did Jesus believe in this concept?

Looking at Job there is a concept that is explored about judgement, consequence, karma, and punishment in our experience. There is correction that God offers to the friends of Job and their opinion of how God operates. There is little cut and dry understanding to God’s judgement. It is the tendency of man to reduce God to our level.

Works based salvation is something that can corrupt our understanding of our own role in our experience after this life. The. Christian understand that we need God. We can’t self help our way to the next life. We can self help our way to be a better person! Eternal consequences rely on what Jesus did for us.

  • Being Thankful
    Dec 11 2025

    Send us a text

Do you ever have times where you forget to be thankful for what you have? That mindset that is fleeting is the grumbling that leads to destruction. The New Testament guides the Christian to attribute all blessings to God, and carry that thankful heart throughout your days.

Is there something that is hindering your thankfulness? Perspective can be panted with the troubles of this chaotic world. If you are in a season of thankfulness, reach out to those to lift others up in their season of trouble. If you are in a season of trial, have the openness to receive help from others.

  • God Will Always Listen to Your Prayers
    Dec 3 2025

    Send us a text

An encouraging passage is when Saul of Tarsus, the great persecutor of the early church, was praying continually to God. Guilty of doing wrong to Jesus, Saul is not in a good state with his salvation. Ananias is told that God is listening to the continuous prayer of Saul.

What does that mean for those who are searching and trying to understand Jesus and God? If you are inspired to speak to God, that channel is always open. This should be encouraging to anyone everywhere, that their prayers will be heard.

To seek God earnestly, means He will move to open that door you are knocking on. The Bible says Jesus is standing at the door and knocks for you to open it to Him. Will you open that door to Him?

  • Unless You Repent, You Will Perish Like Them
    Nov 24 2025

    Send us a text

God answers our “what if” questions with a reminder of humility. Who are you to tell the powerful creator what He is to do? The divine response to these questions is to worry about yourself. Are you in a saved state with the creator? Who is the clay to say to the potter why did you make me this way?

Why would we work to disprove God’s power and authority? We don’t like the things He’s created? Maybe life is unfair and we want to blame Him rather than those who harm us? What about salvation? Shouldn’t I be the exception to the rule?

  • What is Possible?
    Nov 19 2025

    Send us a text

How does this question help us discover the limits of what is real? What have you said is impossible? Is there something in your life that is beyond you, that you are powerless to complete?

How can Jesus help you to make that thing that’s impossible in your life come to fruition. To be clear, there are things that Jesus will help you conquer when it comes to sin, temptation, or seeking after the good spiritual things above. The pages of the Bible tell a story about renewal that comes from life changes that can be yours if you want them.

  • Why Would a Good God Allow Evil, Pain, and Suffering?
    Oct 27 2025

    Send us a text

This question wracks many with doubt. It is one that has been attempted to be answered for millennia. The long answer attempts to dissect this complex question into smaller and more congruent pieces.

Is God good? Many life philosophies attempt to prove God isn’t good, or simply isn’t there at all. The Bible has a vast amount of writing on this subject. There is a God, and He is good.

Does God allow bad things on this Earth? Yes. He does not snap these things out of existence. That also does not make Him bad.

Pain and suffering are presented as tools, first as consequence of mankind, and then as causes intended to inspire you to draw closer to goodness, and therefore God.

Evil is another concept altogether. The Bible speaks of God destroying evil once during the flood. Then, God sent His Son to atone for the sins of man. Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross and subsequent resurrection is the victory over evil. No power can hold God.

Context is important when you consider eternity. A light momentary affliction is nothing compared to what is to come.
