The Conjuring House refers to an 18th-century farmhouse in Harrisville, Rhode Island, where the Perron family lived from 1971–1980. Soon after moving in, they reported strange activity—objects moving, knocking sounds, foul odors, doors opening, and apparitions.
The mother, Carolyn Perron, claimed she became the primary target of the disturbances. The family believed the spirit of Bathsheba Sherman—a 19th-century woman rumored (without proven evidence) to have been involved in dark practices—was haunting the home.
