Description: What started as a simple request to engrave my father’s name on a headstone turned into a complete cemetery paperwork nightmare. My family just discovered we apparently own two burial plots, records don’t match reality, and now nobody can tell us with certainty who is buried where. My father may not even be buried in the plot he purchased. The cemetery wants paperwork from a man who would be over 120 years old today, and instead of helping solve the mystery, they’re giving us bureaucratic roadblocks. In this rant, I talk about grief, frustration, family confusion, and the surreal experience of trying to figure out where your own parents are actually buried.
