Luke 10:38-42 - In this tender and convicting message, Pastor Rob invites us to consider where we’re sitting—at Jesus’ feet like Mary, or distracted in the kitchen like Martha. While Martha was doing good and honorable work, even serving the Lord Himself, she became burdened and anxious when her serving took precedence over her relationship with Jesus. Rob reminds us that ministry can easily become a substitute for intimacy, and that Jesus gently calls us back—not with condemnation, but with compassion: “Only one thing is necessary.” The invitation is clear. In a world pulling us in a thousand directions, will we choose the better portion—simply being with Jesus?

Has my serving become a substitute for truly sitting with Jesus? What distractions am I letting pull me away from His presence? What might it look like this week to choose the “better portion”?

Luke 10:25-37 - In this message, Pastor Rob explores the well-known exchange between Jesus and the lawyer, and the parable of the Good Samaritan, challenging us to see beyond national, ethnic, or personal boundaries when it comes to love and mercy. With compassion at the heart of a transformed life, Jesus calls us not only to bless Israel as part of God’s redemptive plan, but to bless all people—because in Christ, everyone is our neighbor. We are sent out to show mercy, embody the love of Jesus, and be ambassadors of His kingdom, wherever we are. The question is no longer “Who is my neighbor?”- it’s “How am I living as a neighbor like Jesus?” Ask yourself, where is God inviting you to extend mercy today? Are you living as an ambassador of His kingdom to all people? What prejudices or fears need to be surrendered so you can love like Jesus?

Luke 10:3-24 - In this message, Pastor Rob unpacks Jesus’ sending of the 72, highlighting what it means to be ambassadors of the kingdom in a world marked by conflict, fear, and spiritual need. Jesus’ call is urgent: go in faith, with peace on your lips, and the message of hope in your heart. As the disciples experienced healing, deliverance, and joy, they were reminded that the truest joy isn’t power or results—it’s knowing their names are written in heaven. Rob challenges us to discern the time we live in, to embrace our calling with boldness, humility, and love, and to rejoice not in what we do for God, but in who we are because of Him. Are you walking in the authority Jesus has given? Do you rejoice more in what you can do for God, or in simply being His? How might you share the peace and hope of the kingdom this week, right where you are?
