    • republish - universal basic income (ep. 3)
      May 2 2022
How do you fit Universal Basic Income into libertarian thought?  "Don't tread on me" is the essence of today's debate.  Peterson dissects the implication of Universal Basic Income as presented by Andrew Yang's book The War on Normal People.

They also bring up an article from the socialist magazine Jacobin and the old psychological theory Maslow's hierarchy of needs presented by Abraham Maslow in 1947.

On top of all this, the rough calculations done in this episode were based on the numbers in the Jacobin article.  The simulation discussed was by Compass, a UK thinktank.  The link to the simulation's report pdf is here.
