      Terrance Henderson is a performing artist, choreographer, director, writer, teacher, consultant, and activist based in Columbia, South Carolina. An International award-winning choreographer, Terrance has been the creative force behind Columbia’s own Vibrations Dance Company serving as Artistic Director and Principal Choreographer for over 10 years. Terrance sees himself as a change agent, actively working towards dismantling oppressive systems through the facilitation of panel discussions, performances, and workshops aimed at Equity, Anti-Racism, Diversity, and Inclusivity.

      On this episode of TBQCS, we talk with Dr. April Scott.  Dr. Scott is a Columbia-based therapist, consultant, and educator committed to breaking the stigma against mental health.  She currently sits on the board for MidCarolina National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) and Work in Progress. Dr. Scott is the Associate Director of Mental Health Initiatives for Student Health Services at USC Columbia. Her research interests include Black women’s body image, the intersection of media and mental health, and diversity and equity in organizational settings.
