This magical scent is so pleasant that it causes anyone who smells it to lose their sense of purpose and wander in a blissful daze. To save the village from a happy standstill, Midnight must find a way to clear his head and neutralize the floral spell.

When a flashy silver-gray cat named Sterling arrives in the village, Midnight finds his quiet role as protector challenged by performance art. Sterling mimics Midnight’s heroics but adds unnecessary flair and dramatic poses to gain a following. However, when Shadow Weasel’s latest invention threatens the town square, the village learns the difference between a ninja who seeks attention and one who focuses on being truly useful.

On a perfect sunny day, the village faces an unusual disaster when a mysterious, clear goo begins immobilizing the residents. From a squirrel dangling by his tail to a line of stuck ducklings, no one is safe from the "sticky rain" falling from the sky. Midnight must find a creative way to negotiate with a cheerful but sneezy cloud creature named Nimbus to save the town and turn a gooey plague into a masterpiece.
