Ginger and Brigette are two death-lovin' teenage sisters living in a boring but cursed Ontario suburb. While dogs are getting casually merc'd they make a pact–to get out by the time they're 16 or kill themselves.

But when Ginger hits puberty, she gets bit by a werewolf, becomes a werewolf, eats dogs, bangs sleezebags, and kills bullies until eventually Bridgette with the help of her drug-dealing maybe crush try to cure her. This movie is dripping with blood, guts, and allegory. If you want to howl with glee at some horrific bodily ch-ch-ch-changes, you might just sink your teeth into Ginger Snaps.

For anyone who hasn't seen the 2012 Disney Revival-era masterpiece, Wreck-It Ralph is a Donkey Kong-type 8-bit bad guy in an arcade game, where people crap on him relentlessly for doing his job really well for 30 years with no health care or pension. When he gets cake-shamed at his own party, he decides stolen valor is the key, unleashes cybugs in candy land, then reluctantly teams up with glitched-out wannabe kart racer Vanellope von Schweetz to topple an Alan Tudyk-voiced maniacal monarch.

If you want to get emotionally wrecked in all the right ways, Ralph's your guy.

Picture a town. But a creepy one. A town with one road that somehow loops around, trapping its inhabitants forever. Plus there's a smattering of night monsters who will knock on the doors and windows, interrupting your dinner, and if you let them in, they rip you apart and kill you. There's also a hippie commune, but the hippies might let you die outside, tie you up, talk to you about art, eat peaches at you, or traumatize you with a story about murder. 2/5 stars.

If you wanted Lost vibes, but wish there were more eviserations and fewer islands, and if you can somehow Google it, you might just shriek with delight at From.
