Best Show's back with a bang! This week we have our STRANGE FRIEND FUNDRAISER TELETHON! Strange Friend is Tom Scharpling and Julia Vickerman's dream, a rescue dog cafe in downtown LA. And tonight we had a rager in the studio to help drive donations to get it going! Featuring performances from Chaki The Funk Wizard and friends! Plus, friend of the show JOE PERA comes in live in studio and chats with Tom! They discuss (what else) dogs, Joe's comedy style, Buffalo and more! Click this link to donate to the Strange Friend Kickstarter! Plus, Tom and Brett Davis pay tribute wrestler and friend of the show JEFF CANNONBALL, who passed away recently. If you want to support Jeff's family, please visit here.

(Note: The livestream of this episode featured live performances from the Bob Baker Marionette Company, plus the magician duo Cosmic Romantics, live in the Best Show Theater! These performances didn't really translate to the audio experience, so we didn't include them here. So if you want to see them, support the Best Show on Patreon for full video episodes, and check out the Best Show Youtube channel for clips from tonight's telethon!)

Tom is sick this week, so we aren't able to do a new episode of the Best Show. Instead we're sharing a recent post to the Best Show Patreon: The most recent episode of Beer Buddies! In this episode, Tom & Mike drink a few cold ones branded by Willie Nelson & Iron Maiden, and discuss movie theater snacks, weed dispensaries, and more with guest Pat Byrne, joining live from Houston!
