  • We're Back for Season 3 (who's counting?)
    Jun 17 2026

The Beckys return after an unannounced break!

We catch up about well-earned holidays, edit breaks, website fails and we are interrupted by Häagen (the newest member of The Becky Sessions) about 152 times.

It's the usual unhinged chaos with an added side of puppy mayhem.

Well done... we mean...Thank you for listening!

  • Happy first birthday to The Becky Sessions
    May 20 2026

We’ve officially hit one year of The Becky Sessions 🎉 (recorded, of course, the night before it needed to go out… classic).

This episode is a proper catch-up — from finishing final edits and heading into wedding season, to the reality of juggling filming, editing, and life in between. We chat about burnout, whether to actually take a break (or just keep going), and how editing always seems to slow down when you’re busiest shooting.

We also get into the pressure of social media — feeling like you should be posting constantly, capturing everything, and keeping up with what everyone else is doing… and what happens when you just decide not to.

There’s talk of trends (hello black & white edits 👀), trying new things like camcorders, simplifying packages, and why comparing yourself to others can completely derail your mindset.

Plus: a little rant about cold emails, some honest thoughts on the pressure of the job, and a reminder that this industry is hard — but also pretty brilliant.

As always, it’s honest, slightly chaotic, and exactly the kind of conversation we’d be having off-mic anyway.

  • Wing’s Wins! We welcome the wonderful Adam Wing to the pod!
    May 6 2026

This week, we’re joined by our first ever male guest, Adam Wing, and we cover a bit of everything. From what it’s really like experiencing your own wedding as a supplier, to how that changes the way you film, edit, and communicate with couples.

We dive into the reality of running a wedding business alongside family life, navigating school runs, late-night edits, weekend guilt, and the never-ending to-do list. Adam shares honestly about being a dad in the industry, the pressure of providing, and why work-life balance isn’t always what it seems.

    We also chat about:

    • Why replying to enquiries quickly actually matters
    • The emotional rollercoaster of bookings (and ghosting!)
    • Social media pressure and being “known” in the industry
    • Male vs female perspectives in weddings and why both matter

  • Busy Season Is Coming (Send Snacks)
    Apr 22 2026

This week, we’re getting real about the juggle. From overflowing edit schedules and family life to the pressure of “doing it all,” we’re chatting honestly about why we’ve made the decision to go bi-weekly—and why that’s actually a good thing.

We dive into the behind-the-scenes of wedding videography life right now: overdue edits, AI scheduling hacks (hello Claude 👀), and the constant battle between productivity and burnout. Plus, we share insights from real brides, thoughts on awards and wedding fairs, and why clear communication in your business matters more than you think.

There’s also a bit of everything else you’d expect from us—holiday plans, screen time struggles, creative ruts, trying new things, and a reminder that your work is good, even when comparison creeps in.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, behind, or like you’re spinning too many plates—this one’s for you.

✨ Plus: wins of the week, community shoutouts, and a questionable joke to finish, of course.

  • That Wedding Videographer Summit - The Debrief
    Apr 8 2026

In this episode, the Beckys catch up after Becky K smashes her talk at the 'That Wedding Videographer Summit.'

We’re chatting all about the wedding summit experience — from pre-talk nerves, caffeine overload and audience tears. We get into what it really feels like to put yourself out there creatively, the power of community in the wedding industry, and why “relatable” content matters more than ever.

We also talk Super 8, making your work feel more you, and how small, achievable changes can spark big creative shifts.

Plus, the usual: honest chats about juggling business and mum life, wedding industry realities, and a few completely off-topic tangents (including Pokémon cards and rogue audio moments you definitely can’t include in films).

If you’ve ever felt imposter syndrome, thought about pushing yourself creatively, or just needed a reminder that you’re not doing this alone — this one’s for you.

  • Wedding Season: Activated
    Mar 25 2026

This week, we’re talking about that back-to-wedding-season feeling— excitement, nerves, and the panic of “where is everything?!” after time away. One of us heads back to a full-on 150-person wedding (with a drone that almost didn’t cooperate), while also navigating the emotional rollercoaster of leaving a baby for the longest time yet.

We chat about: – The reality of returning to weddings after time off – Mum guilt, pumping in car parks & surviving long days – Creating meaningful experiences for couples vs just “getting the shot” – Booking highs, dry spells, and shifting enquiry trends – The mental load of wedding season (and knowing when enough is enough)

Plus: a wholesome “win of the week,” a questionable joke, and a reminder of why we actually love this job in the first place.

If you’ve ever felt the fear before opening your editing software… this one’s for you.

  • Halloumi and Hailstones
    Mar 18 2026

In this episode, the Beckys are back behind the mic chatting to the backing track of barking, baby crying and hailstorms.

Becky T shares what it was like returning to work for an International Women’s Day event (spoiler: it involved zero prep time, dry shampoo, and a LOT of winging it), while the Becky K talks filming a dance show in a 120-year-old theatre.

    They also dive into:

    • The pressure of editing backlogs and finding balance

    • Energy, motherhood, and trying to look after yourself in busy seasons

    • Using AI to speed up editing and content workflows

    • Content creators in the wedding industry—and why it doesn’t have to be a competition

It’s honest, relatable, and full of those “we’re all just figuring it out” moments.

Plus: a questionable joke of the week with a strong appreciation for halloumi.

  • Katherine of KAS Films: Breakthrough Filmmaker of the Year
    Mar 11 2026

This week on The Becky Sessions, we’re joined by the brilliant Katherine from KAS Films, recent winner of Breakthrough Filmmaker of the Year at the British Wedding Film Festival.

Katherine shares her journey from working in television to accidentally falling into wedding filmmaking after filming a friend’s wedding… and how that one decision led to a thriving business.

We chat about finding your storytelling style, the magic (and chaos) of shooting weddings solo, experimenting with Super 8, and the unexpected pressure that can come with industry recognition.

Plus we talk about the realities of running a creative business alone – from late-night edits and post-wedding adrenaline to the importance of community in the wedding industry.

As always, there’s plenty of laughs, honest moments, and a few classic Becky tangents along the way.
