  • Résumé

  • Intuit for Education: Teaching Finance is a video podcast that focuses on supporting educators with practical teaching concepts as they approach the topic of financial literacy with their students. In this series, former High School math teacher and Intuit for Education team member, May Jue meets with inspiring educators to talk about financial literacy in the classroom. Our guests share tips and tricks for how to get students engaged with financial literacy and talk through best practices for leveraging Intuit for Education’s free curriculum. Speaker Bio: May Jue grew up in Taiwan and moved to California at the age of 11. After graduating from UC Berkeley, May landed a job in finance, but quickly pivoted her career to become a high school math teacher, teaching integrated math and pre-calculus. May recalls this being the “best time of my life” and she still keeps in touch with many of her students. For the last 7 years, May has worked in edtech, supporting educators through various programs. Now she's here at Intuit, helping lead the charge of spreading financial literacy to students across the US. Fun fact: May is also really good at rapping 3 songs, one being the theme song to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air!
