Lots going on as spring changes to summer in Xi’an, China. Temperatures will soon be near 40C and Kevin is getting his steps in. Plans to spend summer in Canada were sadly postponed, but Kevin and family will travel to Osaka, Japan for most of the month of July. This week sees a 4-day weekend as China celebrates May Day (Labor Day) and there are now two teenagers living in my house. Kevin chats about his wife and daughter having to go to Beijing on a “passport run.” They met with former colleagues in Beijing while Kevin and his son hung out in Xi’an.
