This long-forgotten story was collected by Joseph Jacobs within his Celtic Fairy Tales published in Scottland 1892.

Reminiscent of the classic and familiar Grimm tale of Snow White, this story is a refreshed telling of a legendary yet cautionary tale that was told throughout centuries in olden Celtic tradition.

Immersing you into a beautiful tragedy by English poet Alfred Noyes originally published in 1906.
