Join us as WE come together to see the issues and the needs of today’s HEROES, our veterans and first responders. WE will discuss the solutions and see the organizations that are boots on the ground as WE combat the silent, invisible and deadly enemies our HEROES are facing. WE are a grassroots, nonpartisan, nonprofit acting in the Mission to honor, empower and support those who have served. WE are the shock and awe in combating the silent, invisible and deadly enemies of our daily heroes, the First Responders and Veterans. Our goals come on many levels and forms as WE are raising awareness to those who do not know, WE are providing resources to those in need and WE provide the opportunities to those who are still interested in serving and/or have not had or taken the chance to serve before. WE are the beacon of hope for many to change their world through recalibration and rehabilitation. Our goals are to get our HEROES back into their families and communities. Happy Heroes create happy communities.2025 Economie Management Management et direction Sciences sociales

This week we fall on the same time as the big and mighty Superbowl ... but that does not stop Andrea, Mark and Frank from having some crazy fun and stiff conversations. Check out our Shoot the Poo episode, where they discuss everything from football to Olympics to the crazy stories happening around the world. There is also a fun music aspect to this episode. Thanks goes to the following artists who have shared their music, and WeP3 Radio shares with the world. We first shared a song by one of our longtime friends, Dom Cours and his Roll On beginnings. Following that, we played a fun song by Billy Ray Wheatley - It All Turns to Shxt. As the evening was winding down, we finished up with some Shannon Book and his amazing song, Not Alone. That one is a message to anyone, especially those who have served, that there is always someone there who cares, and if you cannot find that person, THE PEOPLE'S PATRIOT PROJECT will always be here for you. On this episode, we were joined by Jeremy Wayne McKern Music and John Kelly of Beyond the Job—a devoted family man who began his career as a firefighter at age 28. What first felt like the greatest job in the world slowly revealed its cost, taking a toll on the body, heart, and soul. During this time, John was also competing in MMA, pushing himself physically while balancing marriage and raising children. As the years stacked up, the signs of PTSD began to surface—anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts. Through trial, error, and relentless self-reflection, John started to uncover the root causes behind what so many first responders quietly experience. This physical and mental stage is far more common than most people realize. After working through that phase and beginning to feel genuinely healthy again, others took notice. People started asking what had changed—why he looked better, felt better, and showed up differently after leaving the fire service. The biggest takeaway from John’s journey: if you wait until you’re at the very end of your rope, the climb back is much steeper and harder. Today, John is developing a husband-and-wife program that allows couples to work through these challenges together. More connection leads to better outcomes. This proactive, holistic approach can—and should—extend into departments, workplaces, and teams, shifting the culture from reactive crisis response to prevention and long-term health. Learn more at Holistic First Responders:https://holisticfirstresponders.com/ Music Spotlight – Jeremy Wayne McKern Our featured artist this episode was Jeremy Wayne McKern, who comes from a long line of military service. Jeremy followed that path himself, serving in the Navy and later the Reserves. Along the way, he faced repeated struggles—with family, friendships, and himself. A PTSD diagnosis became a turning point, leading him to journaling… and eventually to picking up a guitar. Music became his outlet, his processing tool, and his way to reach others. More on Jeremy here:JWMWhiskeyBound.com Featured Songs: “Hard to See the Stars” – Dedicated to his father (Vietnam), grandfather (WWII), and all who have served and returned home to loss—of friends, family, or themselves. A raw look at how dark the world can feel after service ends. “We Don’t Know Them All” – A reflective piece honoring those Jeremy served alongside and those still remembered. “Honky Tonk Bound” – Inspired by Sturgill Simpson and packed with classic country music clichés—you just have to hear it. It’s something I connect with deeply and what continues to bring me back to this space. Yes, there’s action and purpose in service—but there must also be space to care for ourselves. We say it often because it’s true: you can only give your best to others when you’ve taken care of yourself first. When you face your demons and admit your weaknesses before hitting rock bottom, you give yourself a real chance to climb back up and rediscover where you belong. Jeremy—have confidence in your talent. Not just your music, but your ability to connect with people. Your authenticity reaches others. You could see it in John, and he saw it in you. That’s how this works.

On this episode, we share the thoughts and experiences of our guest, Trent Dilks, a fellow Minnesotan who opens up about both his military and civilian journeys. Trent reflects on the lessons learned along the way and shares the missions he’s involved in—work focused on supporting, elevating, and standing alongside veterans who need it most. On the music side, we’re joined by Aaron Curtis Owen, who takes us through his time in the military and the road that followed. Aaron speaks candidly about the ups and downs of life after service and why music became his outlet—his way of wearing his heart on his sleeve. Song #1 – “American’s Man” - Written from the moment of holding his grandfather’s hand at the end of his life, this song reflects on the often-unseen side of enlistment and deployment—the lasting impact on family, friends, and community. Song #2 – “Talkin’ 2 Bru’s” - Aaron was honestly thinking about how we need to stay close to our family and brothers, or else we will feel lost. Song #3 – “Time on the Bottle” - Well, there is a time and place for everything, and Aaron chronicles events with such passion that it shows, not only in his voice, but in his actions. An honest conversation filled with reflection, purpose, and music that tells the deeper story.
