 The Genies' is inspired by the term 'Jie Jie' and 'Unnies', which means older sister in Korean, Cantonese and Mandarin. Together Jo and Anna decided to create a space for Asian-Australians (everyone else is welcome too!) to find familiarity and support through our stories about growing up Asian from down under and also show support for the creatives!
