  • Music Producer SP
    Jul 29 2025

Renel Jordan has quietly built a legacy in the music industry, contributing as a ghost producer and co-writer on some of the most recognizable tracks in pop, R&B, and hip-hop. With collaborations tied to stars like Flo Rida, Justin Bieber, and Chris Brown, Renel played a behind-the-scenes role in crafting global hits — always choosing to remain anonymous due to personal family trauma. By operating under strict anonymity in contracts and public credits, he protected his peace, valuing privacy over fame.

His creative fingerprints can be found on major releases, including:

    • Maroon 5“It Was Always You,” “Coming Back for You”
    • Demi Lovato“Heart Attack,” “Made in the USA,” “Two Pieces,” “Never Been Hurt”
    • Selena Gomez“Forget Forever,” “Save the Day”
    • David Guetta“Dangerous,” “Lovers on the Sun”
    • Nick Jonas“Chains,” “Teacher”
    • Zendaya“Butterflies,” “Bottle You Up”
    • Wale“On Chill” (Producer)

Renel’s talent for blending genres — from synth-driven pop to melodic rap — speaks to his unmatched ear and storytelling instinct. His work has earned multiple Grammy nominations and the respect of industry insiders.

After stepping back from the spotlight, Renel turned his focus to education, driven by a desire to impact lives more directly. He became an advocate for students with behavioral challenges, helping them shift their perspectives through creativity and mentorship. Through Douglas County’s 21st Century Grant Program, he developed innovative teaching methods — including using beat-making and music production to teach math — making learning both accessible and exciting for struggling students.

From ghostwriting hits to transforming classrooms, Renel Jordan continues to lead with purpose, passion, and a deep belief in the power of art to heal and inspire.

  • DJ Hollywood (Respectfully, the 1st Mcee before it was called Hip Hop)
    Jan 19 2025

DJ Hollywood, born Anthony Holloway on December 10, 1954, in Harlem, New York, is a pioneering American MC and disc jockey whose innovative style in the 1970s significantly influenced the evolution of hip-hop music.

In the early 1970s, DJ Hollywood began performing DJ sets that incorporated rhythmic call-and-response interactions with his audience. Unlike earlier MCs who primarily spoke over tracks, he introduced rhythm and rhyme into his performances, laying the groundwork for what would become hip-hop-style rapping. His approach drew inspiration from figures like Jocko Henderson, Pigmeat Markham, Gil Scott-Heron, and Rudy Ray Moore.

By 1978, DJ Hollywood made history as the first DJ to bring turntables and a mixer to the Apollo Theater. His popularity soared, leading to performances at venues like Club 371 in the South Bronx. Although much of his work was live and not recorded, he did release the single "Shock Shock The House" in 1980 under CBS Records. Throughout the early to mid-1980s, he remained a dominant figure in the DJ scene. After a hiatus due to personal challenges he left the music scene for a short period of time. However, DJ Hollywood returned to the music scene, performing in the New York City area and reuniting with former partner Lovebug Starski as part of Tha Veteranz.

DJ Hollywood's contributions have been acknowledged in various media, including the 2024 PBS series "Disco: Soundtrack of a Revolution," which explores the cultural impact of disco music.

  • The Addiction of Hope Movie with actress and Producer Anne-Marie Johnson Writer/Director Marty Grey Gottlieb
    Oct 21 2024

DIRECTOR: Marty Grey Gottlieb was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY before heading to Boulder, CO to play football and an inning or two of baseball for the Buffaloes. After graduating, he returned to Brooklyn and worked in a paper converting factory making paper lace doilies, hence the name of his production company, DOILYBOY. But it was a means to an end once Marty started working as an actor.

His first feature film was THE NATURAL and from there came regular work on television in mostly one hour dramas like NYPD BLUE, ER, JAG, THE X-FILES, COLD CASE, BONES, LIFE and many others. But there was always an itch to do more. The stage was a great place and Marty was honored with a Los Angeles Drama-Logue award for best actor in FRIENDS, but something was still missing. Like many actors, he started writing and eventually was able to direct a TV pilot, ON AND ON, from his own script.

Some years later he co-wrote and co-starred in the award-winning feature film ABOUT FIFTY and now, THE ADDICTION OF HOPE marks his first feature film as a writer/director/producer/actor.

Marty’s goal as a filmmaker is to tell stories honestly with grounded performances that move people.

DIRECTOR STATEMENT: Sometimes in our despair hope becomes addictive and makes it easier to ignore

reality. This story looks at why we make some choices in life, and how we’re capable of changing.
