  • The Men Breaking Behind the Badge
    Oct 12 2026

Cops run toward what everyone else runs from. But who’s checking on them when they get home?

Matt Stone spent 15 years in law enforcement. He saw things most of us never will, and he carried them home. He lost friends to suicide and overdoses. And for a long time, he didn’t say a word.

Then he found a way to start talking. On the golf course.

Matt is the founder of Playin Thru, a podcast and nonprofit built to break the stigma around men’s mental health. He takes the conversation out of the therapist’s office and onto the course, where guys actually open up. He’s played rounds with everyday men and pro athletes like Dontrelle Willis, Ryan Dempster, and Theo Fleury, having the conversations most men avoid.

In this episode we talk about:

    • What 15 years on the job did to him
    • Why men open up on a golf course when they won’t anywhere else
    • Why men wait so long to ask for help
    • How to show up for a friend who won’t open up
    • What stewarding your mind actually looks like
    • How you can get involved in what Playin Thru is building

If you’re a first responder, love one, or you’re just a guy who’s been holding it together a little too long, this one’s for you.

It’s okay to not be okay. But don’t stay there.

  • She Finds the World's Best Talent for a Living - Shine Thomas
    Sep 22 2026

Her whole job is finding the best people on earth. Adidas, Nike, now Specialized.

You'd think someone at the top of that game would tell you to chase the title. She says the opposite. Chase the calling. Protect your peace. Be who you were made to be, and don't wait for things to come to you.

This is Shine Thomas. If you caught the episode with her husband Ranji, you already know this family. Part two does not disappoint

  • He Advises the Most Trusted Names in the World. He Won't Send an Invoice.
    Aug 27 2026

Im very excited about this guest Ranjy Thomas! Top artists save him in their phone as Uncle Ranjy. A few of them thought it was a term before they found out it was a person. His fingerprints are on some of the biggest names in music and ministry, and he refuses to send an invoice for most of it.

In this one he gets into anticipating the need, walking with people in their lowest moments, and why he plays for the decade instead of the single.

  • One Question Housed Nearly 1,000 Women and Children.
    Aug 13 2026

If you're building something, a business, a nonprofit, a family, this one's for you.

Loren and his wife Rachelle started with a two-bedroom rental and one question: How do you actually love your neighbor? No plan. No blueprint. Fifteen years later they've housed nearly 1,000 women and children coming out of the hardest situations you can imagine.

It started with a 13-year-old knocking on their door two days before Christmas.

In this conversation Loren talks about the girls who kept showing up, one after another, before anyone was calling it trafficking. The FBI call that caught them off guard. The $8 million check he stared at wondering if he'd sold his soul. And the question God asked him in the car after school drop-off that changed how he saw all of it.

We get into what it means to serve your city with no agenda, why the best things you build never start from a slick plan, and how to know your neighbor when you don't even know their name anymore.

  • The Foundation Under 35 Years of Creative Work — Noah Elias
    Jul 17 2026

Noah Elias has spent 35 years building the kind of creative career most people think isn't possible. He's painted for Disney, Lucasfilm, and Lexus. He was voted one of the top 25 artists in the world. He's built companies, written books, and coached entrepreneurs for decades.

But this conversation isn't really about the résumé. It's about what's underneath it.

We talk about the question most successful people can't answer, why he was his own worst bully for years, and what changed when he stopped performing for God and started trusting him. He breaks down the difference between a coach and a mentor, the three phases of life he takes every client through (consumer, producer, investor), and why he blocks 5 to 10 every morning as the most important work he does.

We also get into money. Why you can't live a radical life of generosity while you're broke, what a gospel patron is, and how he thinks about turning everything he's been given into something that multiplies.

If you've ever felt like your work is who you are, this one's going to poke at that.

    In this episode:

    • The desert question: who are you without the title
    • Fear and shame, and why he wrote Fear Hunters
    • Coaching is for a season, mentors are for life
    • Performing for God vs. trusting him
    • The 5 to 10 a.m. root system
    • Consumer, producer, investor
    • Gospel patrons and generosity
    • AI, trust, and why depth wins from here

  • Possibly the Most Interesting Man You've Never Heard Of
    Jul 1 2026

Mark is one of the most quietly remarkable people I’ve ever known and in this conversation he shares the kind of wisdom that only comes from lived out experience.

We go deep on identity. What proximity to large sums of money actually does to a person. The real cost of mastery. Why most people are knocking on doors they were never meant to open and one question that reframed everything for me:

“Every person lives their life from an identity — whether they admit it or not. It will affect everything you are and every decision you make.”
