Join us as Tracy Linkletter shares how Romans 4 helps us understand what it means to trust God while living somewhere in the middle of His unfolding story. We know some of what has happened, but the chapters ahead remain unknown. How do we learn to trust God when we cannot see what comes next?
Paul takes us into Abraham's story, where God calls him to leave everything familiar and promises to bless him and his descendants. Abraham has no idea how those promises will unfold. He struggles, questions, and makes mistakes along the way, yet he continues learning to trust the One who called him. Through Abraham's journey, Paul shows us that belonging to God's family comes through faith, a gift made possible through Jesus.
Tracy encourages us to consider where we might be holding tightly to control, struggling with uncertainty, or allowing our circumstances to shape how we understand God. As we return to Scripture, keep Jesus at the centre, and learn to recognize God's character throughout the larger biblical story, our trust begins to grow. The same God who remained faithful to Abraham raised Jesus from the dead. His grace continues working in our lives, and we can trust Him with the chapters we cannot yet see.

📖 In This Video, We Chat About:

Join us as Colby Lidstone shares how Romans 3:21–31 reveals our shared need for God's grace and how we are made right with Him through faith in Jesus. What are we trusting to make us acceptable before God? Our goodness, our faithfulness, our knowledge of Scripture? Or have past mistakes left us wondering if God could ever welcome us?

Paul brings everyone to the same place. We have all sinned, and none of us can earn our way into God's acceptance. Then come two remarkable words: "But now." God has provided a way for us to be made right with Him through Jesus Christ. Colby connects Paul's teaching with the story of Nicodemus in John 3, a respected religious teacher who came to Jesus with questions. Despite everything he knew, Nicodemus needed the new life that only God could give.

The invitation reaches each of us. We can release our confidence in personal achievements, bring our failures into the open, and come to Jesus with empty hands. Through His sacrifice on the cross, we receive forgiveness, and through the Holy Spirit, we receive new life. The ground is level before God, and His grace welcomes everyone who places their faith in Jesus.

📖 In This Video, We Chat About:
Why Romans 3 teaches that everyone shares the same need for God's graceWhat the words "But now" reveal about God's plan to make us right with HimHow the story of Nicodemus helps us understand faith and being born againWhat it means to stop relying on our goodness or hiding behind our failures and trust Jesus

  • One Problem
    Oct 4 2026
Join us as Joel shares how Romans brings every person to the same ground before God and asks a searching question: where are we looking for life? Paul traces the problem through Romans 1 to 3, showing how humanity turns from the Creator, how easily we judge the failures of others, and how every person shares the same need for God.
The invitation is deeply personal. We can notice the ways we compare ourselves with others, pay attention to what we trust to give us life, and bring those places honestly before Jesus. Paul keeps leading us back to the same truth: life comes from God. Faith grows as we release our own measuring sticks and learn to trust the God who gives life to the dead.

📖 In This Video, We Chat About:

  • One Gospel
    Sep 27 2026
Join us as Joel shares how Paul’s letter to the Romans brings a divided church back to one shared centre: Jesus is King. Jewish and Gentile believers carried different histories, traditions, convictions, and experiences, raising a deeply human question: who gets to decide who belongs?
Paul begins with the good news about Jesus. Their identity and belonging are found in Him, and together they are learning to become one family under His leadership. That same invitation reaches into our lives today. We each carry preferences, experiences, wounds, fears, convictions, politics, and ideas about what church should look like. Following Jesus means bringing all of these under His leadership.
As we surrender the final word to Jesus, His kingship begins shaping our relationships, plans, habits, ambitions, money, time, and the way we respond to people who see things differently. Faith and discipleship grow as we follow where Jesus leads, choose self giving love, and make room for the people He welcomes into His family.

  • Deep Water
    Sep 20 2026
Join us as Tracy shares how Jesus invites us into a life shaped by trust, surrender, and the presence of the Holy Spirit. Ezekiel pictures this life as a river flowing out of God’s presence, growing deeper until the water is deep enough to swim in. Everywhere the river flows, life follows. Jesus later invites anyone who is thirsty to come to Him and drink, promising rivers of living water through the Holy Spirit.
Deep water brings us to a place of trust. We learn to loosen our grip on control, bring our fears and insecurities honestly to God, stay close to Jesus, and allow the Holy Spirit to lead. Some days trust comes easily. Other days it takes courage simply to keep saying yes.
As we become increasingly available to the Holy Spirit, He forms the life of Jesus within us. His life reaches deeper places in our hearts and begins to flow through us in love, forgiveness, faithfulness, humility, healing, and hope.

  • Learn the River
    Sep 13 2026
Join us as Tracy and Andrew share how learning to live with the Holy Spirit is a lot like learning a river. You can hear the stories and learn what to watch for, but eventually you have to get into the water and begin paying attention to the current.
Scripture gives us the story of God and shows us the character and ways of Jesus. As we follow Him, we learn to recognize the Spirit’s leading by listening, testing what we sense against Scripture, and walking with trusted people who can help us discern. Through calm stretches, rapids, storms, and seasons that feel like carrying the canoe, Holy Spirit continues forming and preparing us. Faith grows as we stay present, trust the One who knows where the river is going, and keep following Jesus together.

  • Get in the Water
    Sep 6 2026
Join us as Tracy Linkletter and Andrew Bryce share how Scripture reveals Holy Spirit as the life giving presence of God, moving from the opening pages of Genesis through the life of Jesus, Pentecost, and the final invitation of Revelation. Our experiences, traditions, and disappointments can deeply influence how we understand Holy Spirit, and returning to the biblical story helps us see Him with fresh eyes.

Genesis begins with the Spirit hovering over the waters, present and ready to bring life from chaos. The prophets speak of a day when God will put His Spirit within His people. At the Jordan, the Spirit rests upon Jesus, and at Pentecost He is poured out upon ordinary people. This same Spirit continues to dwell within and among those who follow Jesus.

Tracy and Andrew invite us to bring our own stories back to Jesus and allow Holy Spirit to breathe life into places that have become stagnant. As we pay attention, listen for His leading, and surrender what we have kept bottled up, we learn what it means to live immersed in His presence and move with His living water.

  • Saying Yes To Jesus In Everyday Life
    Aug 30 2026
Join us as the YWAM mission team and Tracy share how saying yes to Jesus in everyday life helps us recognize where Holy Spirit is already at work. Through stories of prayer, service, changed plans, and unexpected encounters, we see how following Jesus can unfold in the ordinary moments right in front of us.
A changed plan became an opportunity to care for family. A flooded basement became a place to serve and pray. A neighbourhood walk became a time of intercession for families, schools, hospitals, and businesses. Along the way, the team discovered the value of slowing down, listening to Holy Spirit, showing compassion, and continuing with Jesus when the outcome was unclear.
Micah 6:8 brings the invitation into focus: do what is right, love mercy, and walk humbly with God. Holy Spirit is already present and at work, and our everyday yes allows us to participate in what He is doing.
📖 In This Video, We Chat About:
    • How to recognize Holy Spirit at work in everyday life • Saying yes to Jesus when plans unexpectedly change • How prayer, intercession, and service become part of everyday discipleship • Trusting Jesus with outcomes we cannot see
