      Violinist Erin Keefe is the Concertmaster of the Minnesota Orchestra and a faculty member at the Curtis Institute of Music. She's the winner of numerous international competitions and has performed as a chamber music artist, soloist and guest concertmaster around the country and the world. But before that, she spent years studying at the Hartt School Community Division.

    • Ballet Dancer Phoebe Magna

      Professional Dancer Phoebe Magna is currently a company artist at Ballet Memphis.

      Her career includes seasons at Colorado Ballet, City Ballet of San Diego, and Boulder Ballet. Her training began at just four years old at the Hartt School Community Division.

    • Composer/Conductor John Jesensky
      Sep 8 2023

      Composer, orchestrator and conductor John Jesensky has written scores for numerous short and feature-length films leading to appearances and awards at events such as the Cannes Film Festival, the L.A. Film Festival and more.

      He is currently touring the globe conducting premiere orchestras for CineConcerts and APEX Classics bringing fully restored film scores from Harry Potter to The Godfather to audiences worldwide.

      Before reaching these career accomplishments, Jesensky was a student at the Hartt School Community Division.

      This episode was recorded in October 2022. Jesensky's Tales of Halloween with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra and the Hartford Chorale! will be returning this year on October 28, 2023. Learn more here.
