Still Standing Strong is a space for honest conversations about the things most people don’t talk about — burnout, grief, identity, doubt, pressure, healing… and everything in between.

I’ve been through my fair share of it. I’m not a guru — just someone who’s learned a lot from being knocked down and getting back up again.

Each episode, I’ll unpack thoughts and experiences around the difficult stuff — the kind of stuff that sits with you. I’ll share what I’ve been through, what I’m still figuring out, and invite you to think about how it shows up in your own life. (Dad jokes and puns may also make an appearance from time to time).

If you’re someone who thinks deeply, feels a lot, or just wants to hear something real for once… welcome.Copyright Ollie’s Dad

  • Ep 14 - The Voice and the Dream
    Jun 13 2026
We all have a voice inside us.

Not the one that tells us what we should do. The one that keeps pulling us back to what we're meant to do.

In this episode, I talk about the dreams I had growing up, the careers I imagined for myself, and the one thing that never stopped calling me back: music.

Some passions fade. Some interests come and go. But every once in a while, there's something that follows you through every season of life. It shows up when you're a kid. It stays with you as an adult. And no matter how far you drift, it keeps finding its way back to you.

Maybe that's not an accident. Maybe that's your gift.

This episode is about listening to that feeling, trusting that voice, and having the courage to pursue the thing that makes you feel most alive. Because none of us have forever, and someday the opportunities in front of us today won't be there anymore.

So what's the thing that keeps calling you back? And are you finally ready to listen?

  • Ep 13 - The Job Fit
    May 24 2026
In this episode of Still Standing Strong, we dive into the idea of “job fit” — and how being in the wrong environment can slowly drain your energy, confidence, peace, and identity without you even realizing it.

Sometimes it doesn’t happen all at once. It happens over time. You adapt. You normalize stress. You convince yourself that surviving is the same thing as living.

This episode explores what happens when you finally look in the mirror and ask yourself if you were meant for more.

We talk about fear, growth, risk, resilience, and the uncomfortable reality that many people never achieve what they truly want because they’re too afraid to step into the unknown. You can’t live life on the edge while being afraid to fall.At some point, you have to jump and see what you’re capable of.

The episode also touches on personal experiences, how difficult seasons can change you, and how adversity can create a mindset that pushes you to expect more from life — not less.

Maybe the life you want is waiting on the other side of one honest decision.

  • Ep 12 - The Journey
    May 18 2026
After stepping away for a while, Still Standing Strong returns with a different perspective.

In this episode, we talk about the pressure of chasing success, the reality of walking into a role that wasn’t what it seemed, and what happens when life forces you to slow down and reevaluate who you are outside of achievement, titles, and expectations.

The episode also explores a powerful story about tragedy, perspective, and hidden purpose — leading to one important question:“What is your rock?” Sometimes the hardest moments in our lives are also the moments that reveal what was happening beneath the surface all along.

This episode marks the beginning of a new direction for the podcast:
less polished, more honest, and more focused on real conversations about growth, struggle, resilience, purpose, and becoming stronger through life’s unexpected turns.
