We ask Ben Gloe, "How does Jesus help you find peace?

"He helps me find comfort. With all of the different things going on in our lives, giving up a little bit of control knowing that it's going to work out, it's going to be fine –– The biggest things are out of your hand anyway. Do your best, love the family and the rest isn't up to you." Ben talks about giving up control, the importance of keeping the church culture alive, and St. Andrew's being fun like "Gigi's" house for his children. "I look to history –– Jesus came during a very difficult time, when people were struggling, and politics were grim. You can find the parallels in our Christian faith in today's time and that gives me hope to reflect when I'm struggling through things ... I think everybody thinks every time is 'unique' and this time does feel particularly fraught... but as you go back to history, you'll find it was also bad, but faith continues to triumph over evil."
