À propos de ce contenu audio
After the last king of the Sinhalese, King Sri Wickrama Rajasingha, fell into the hands of the British in 1815, the whole of Sri Lanka began to be ruled under the British government. In 1906, Sri Wickrama Noortiya was created by lawyer John de Silva Champion based on this incident. The play was compiled into a book by the Towerhall Theater Foundation for the Tower Centenary. This has been created based on the Noorthi script and the songs and dialogues contained in it have been included.
At the beginning of this scenario, a discussion takes place in Raja Vasale and tells about the duties assigned to Ahelepola Nilame. Apart from this, it also contains information regarding the strategies used to start a war between the English in the low country and the king in the upper country.
