Spiritual Inheritance – Part 3 | The Journey of Access

In Spiritual Inheritance (Part 3), we examine the legal and experiential reality of sonship and how access to inheritance unfolds through covenant order. Sonship was legally secured by the death of Jesus, satisfying the full claims of divine justice. This reality is then communicated by the Holy Spirit to our spirit (Romans 8:16), awakening spiritual intuition, establishing conviction in the conscience, and producing boldness of access in fellowship with God. This internal witness brings us into a new covenant family, where heritages are received and inheritances are accessed not merely acknowledged. Using Genesis 26, we explore Isaac’s journey through the wells, particularly Rehoboth and Beersheba, as a prophetic picture of access. Rehoboth represents spiritual inheritance accessed through perseverance and peace amid strife. Yet Isaac does not settle there. His journey continues to Beersheba, the covenant well, representing eternal inheritance.
