We know it's been a tough year and often the focus is on what's wrong in the world! Well today we have the antidote of telling each other and you what we like about life!

We ponder on the united cross party politics front as we now head towards a public enquiry.

With a huge thank you to all who objected and supported us!

As this is happening on our home patch and we have been active in protecting our personal home, that of our Sanctuary nature, animals and clientele.

We have as always plenty to say in the matter on this ‘colossal act of vandalism’ as one councillor put it.

There is power in language and we hope others will appreciate our words across the boards. Some won’t make sense or be relevant for you, however we hope there will be validation and ‘it’s not just me then’ moments for people as we list and grapple with what historically will be views as a major shift in society and how things be in 2025!

Choirs, harmonies and group singing for wellness


Hello from our Sanctuary in Scotland.

Today we talk about choirs, voice use and singing in groups can how we can benefit from the community singing experience psychologically and our well being increased.

Outlining some of the group experiences we have had and created along side the research Ali was a part of with an intergenerational choir and singing with dementia. We chat together about our shared passion for the group experience and the beautiful creative harmonious benefits of all things group singing!

Home is set as an immersive track welcoming you into the world of DNA. With the inclusion of audio from old reel to reel tracks Denise had digitalised of her ancestors. In particular in this track, Agnes Noble Wight, Leith, Edinburgh (who Noble House was named after) and Bessie Fairley, Granton, Edinburgh. These recording were recorded by Denise’s Dad, Bill Borland. In their family home in Fairmilehead, Edinburgh.
