  • Neighborly Vibes & Lash Kits
    Feb 3 2026

In this episode of She Sed, we’re riding out the winter storm and catching up. Lisa baked egg bites and more cottage cheese bagels (yes, again), while Amy got wild with premade cookie dough. We talked about the magic of two metal pans to thaw meat fast, and hiring the Tulsa Twins to shovel Lisa’s driveway, 10/10 would recommend. We also covered neighborly love, like actually borrowing sugar and being decent humans. Amy’s gearing up to tint and curl her lashes at home, and Lisa’s soaking up sunshine to sleep better. We unpack high cortisol, red wine mouth swishing (you’ll gag), and why moms carry everything during the holidays. You’ll laugh, you’ll learn…you might Google “red wine amoeba.” Let’s go.

  • We See Danger Before Men Do!
    Jan 23 2026

Episode 40 is emotional, tense, and totally worth tuning into. Lisa opens up about the emotional weight of this week as it is coming up on a year since her mom entered the hospital and skilled nursing. Plus, the memories that the approaching snowstorm brings with it. She shares what it was like sorting through her mom’s winter clothes this past weekend, the smell of her perfume and flashbacks of shopping trips together purchasing the clothes. On the lighter side, she’s still baking the viral cottage cheese bagels and this time with blueberries.

Amy, on the other hand, might need to be studied. She casually eats whole lemons like they’re apples, with salt, and drinks pickle juice straight from the jar. Not for TikTok. But, just for fun. Amy also brings the heat with a list of 10 benefits of Blackseed oil, including why she credits it for her thick hair and strong immune system. We talk about soaking feet in hydrogen peroxide, which helps with detox and fungus. Lisa’s already got her dad prepping for a foot detox. We talk about mixing baking soda and lemon juice for an alkalizing detox drink, and Lisa reviews her latest restaurant visit to Amalfi in Tulsa.

We also discuss the Michigan highway snow pile-up, the upcoming Tulsa Snowmageddon, foot soaks, and Amy explains why women can detect danger 0.7 seconds faster than men (science backs her up). Amy closes with a serious PSA about her best friend being followed at a Tulsa shopping center and is a reminder to stay aware, and trust your gut.

Amy's ready for a little Lymphatic Massage and lists a few places in Tulsa. Lisa talks about the incredible results she got from a lymphatic drainage treatment in Beverly Hills and how worthi it is. We dive into TENS units for sciatica, the launch of Lisa’s new Seat at the Table e-book and the making cottage cheese bagels that don’t taste like sad diet food. Amy also shares about going back to the theater to see David, Lisa found an amazing cupcake bouquet and how they look like flowers and experimenting with sun gazing for better sleep—while Amy takes it a step too far (you’ll have to listen to see what we mean). Another episode full of hacks, heart, and absolutely no consistency, which is exactly how we like it.

    Dec 15 2025

We’re back from our Thanksgiving holiday break, and Episode 36 iis just the way we like it.

Lisa shares her face tape experiment gone terribly wrong. Amy, apparently is still being able to do Asian squats like a ninja in her 50s. We talk about our Thanksgiving, the pressure of holiday shopping, and how we gave up on Black Friday because… we shop all year anyway.

  • The Holiday Spiral, But Make It Festive
    Nov 21 2025

Episode 35 hits a little deeper. Lisa opens up about the emotional weight of this week—it marks nearly a year since her mom entered the hospital, and the holidays are feeling heavier than ever. Amy’s been carless for five days (RIP starter), and we’re both just trying to keep it together. We share updates on Christmas decorations, castor oil for eye issues (Lisa’s new nighttime ritual), chemtrails over Tulsa (Amy’s watching the skies), and what it’s like dealing with nursing home care and the absolute need for a relentless advocate by your side. Plus, updates on A Seat at the Table, a new mentoring project Lisa’s building, Arlo camera updates and a Brookside restaurant shoutout. Basically? It’s real life, raw feels, and ridiculous hacks.

  • Borax, Baking Soda and Big Feelings
    Nov 14 2025

The holidays are here, and they’re hitting different this year. Amy shares that she isn't hosting Thanksgiving this year for the first time in a while and throws in a short cut hack from Sams of a prebaked Turkey. Lisa shares how this season marks her first without her mom and the grief her dad is carrying, declaring he doesn’t want to celebrate Thanksgiving or Christmas anymore. We talk about what that feels like, the weight of traditions, and how to keep showing up when your heart’s not in it. Amy gets into her DIY science project for homemade room fresheners (you’ll either be amazed or mildly concerned), and we debate the snack of the season: pomegranate seeds vs. Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes. Plus: being early vs on time or late and sticking to your commitments, good news for women and hormone replacement therapy breakthroughs, annual chemo-versary fundraisers, and a borax hack for dry skin that might be genius (or reckless—we’re still deciding).
