In this Bible Bit podcast, Kimmy Miller of Woman at the Well Ministries examines Genesis 32:22-32, focusing on Jacob's all-night wrestling with God and how his reliance on self was broken when the Lord touched the hollow of his thigh. The encounter left Jacob physically weakened but spiritually transformed, receiving a new name and God's blessing.
This Bible Bit explores the danger of self-reliance, the purpose of hardship to draw us closer to God, and the call to surrender pride and control so God’s strength can be made perfect in our weakness.
